My advice is to get out before he stomps all over your heart. Ive very recently been through a similar experience with a JW. The whole affair has lasted some 10 months. At first it was fairly innocent (just hugging and kissing) but more recently he had told me he had been having fantasies about me and couldnt get me off his mind. One night he call me up at 10:30pm and asked to come round. Hed been out drinking and was worst for wear (he tends to tread the fine line in lots of ways) and we ended up having oral sex (I hasten to add prior to this he had told me he was thinking of getting out of the organisation). almost as soon as it happened he was awash with guilt and telling me he would have to tell the elders about it, which he did. two days later he sent me a very cold message on myspace saying he could not see me anymore and he wanted to live a life that pleased Jehovah. Im now really quite heartbroken that this man I have know for 10 years altogether has just cut me out of his life in a heart beat. I suspect that 99.99% of all other similar relationships would be doomed. Maybe Im being too harsh as Im still hurting real bad.

JW-apologists - and who survives Armageddon?
by Hellrider inlately i`ve been in conflict with jw-apologists on wikipedia in my country.
the most annoying thing is when the jws are trying to rewrite doctrine to make it sound more humane than it really is.
everyone on this board, everyone who ever was a jw or were raised as a jw,knows what the real doctrine is on this issue.

Apologies for not understanding the question. I know very little about the subjest at the mo and simple wish to gleam others views on the subject. I can only state what I have been told to be the "correct" interpretation of what a JW has told me. I was of the understanding EVERYONE would be destroyed at Armageddon. I know there is the 144,000 to be ressurected that will rule with Christ but I dont know much about this yet.

Hi Pimkry,
well I did ask about this because my sister took bible studies about 10 years ago but ceased then and was never baptised so its a question close to my heart. The lady giving the study told me there was no reason why my sister would not be resurrected and she would be judged, as everyone else would be according to the deeds she performs after the resurrection

To a lesser extent Ive been through a similar thing. He told me last week that he couldnt see me that oftern because it would have to go to the next level or stop AND he didnt want to get in trouble. That last statement really hurt the most as he sounds more afraid of getting in trouble with the "organization" than he is with his God.

How Much Do You Really Know???
by mama1119 inthis is probably a question more for those who grew up in the truth, rather than those who studued and came in.
i have found, i really know nothing when it come to the actual fundamentals of jw .
i have learned more on this site than i did being a jw for 20 years.

Hi Hellrider, Ive just recently started bible studies and this question arose reasonably early in my first study. This is my understanding of it.
That both the righteous and un-righteous will be resurrected (Acts 24:15) She stated not everyone will be ressurected those that have died and gone to Gehenna (a symbolic place of eternal destruction) will not be but those in Hades or Sheol (mans common grave will be.
Edit* Also that it will take a further thousand years to to sort out from the peole ressurected who will stay and who will experience the "second death"

ARE WE FRIENDS OR ARE WE MORE?
by Serena ini am so confused about this guy that i have been secretly talking to on the phone and secretly going to his apartment(only at nighttime).
he is a jw, ofcourse--if he wasn't i'm sure i would not have this confusion.
he flirts with me,touches me an chance he gets(on the shoulder or the knee) and i know he likes me more than friendship(or maybe he doesn't, who knows?).

Hi Serena,
Just wanted to say Im going through a very similar situation myself. Hes a JW Im not, although I have been taking bible studies (not, I hasten to add to appear more alluring to him). Ive known this guy for around 10 years and hes been a JW for 8 years. He chats to me on msn and invites me round to his house at odd times in the night. The last time I went round we ended up passionatly kissing and talking about sex but we didnt go ant further. My head has been totally mashed since this as he says one thing but acts in a totally different way. I cant help feeling a little angry and upset at him but I also cant seem to keep away either. He snaps his fingers and I come running. At my age I should know better but I love the guy to bits. After reading this thread though I have decided I have to be strong and stop before it goes any further. I have no wish to be hurt by this guy and I have no wish to "lure" him away from his religion. I knew hin before he was a witness and tbh hes a better man with his faith. Im sad about it and I feel sad for anyone else in this prediciment too
