by Axeman init has been said that the stockmarket runs on greed and fear what about the wt i have known some jw to pick out a neighbours house and say i'll have that one after the big a obey and you get good health and untold material wealth dont obey and you lose the lot

Shunning
by Axeman inmost of us here accept that we were indoctrinated as jw's on a very personal level ie: how we should dress acceptable jobs association with socalled worldly people even your own flesh and blood.
a divisive them us mentality them bad us good so having been there i cut my ex wife and sisters a lot of slack telling myself that they are not really responsible for their actions re treating me as if i were dead .
those of us who have experienced this know from their experience how cruel and inhuman this policy is yet the relatives claim the victim status saying that they would not have to do this if you had not left and they are hurting.

The best WT elders are
by Axeman ini know some elders want to be real shepherds in the biblical sense and are constantly challenged by wt directions that are cold unloving & self serving and many leave because of this.
such an elder who has his own conscience and is troubled by it does not make the best wt elder.
im looking to name the characteristics that make the best wt elders.

by Axeman inyoung man i know was riding his pushbike to work when he was knocked over by a car driven by an elderly woman.
he was not hurt.

What do so called wprldly people think of Witnesses
by Axeman inthe wt would have us believe that worldly people admire and respect witnesses for their fine conduct.
not my experience when i left and sought candid expressions of what they really thought about the witnesses i found for the most part rather than admire them they think they are a little weird that there is something wrong with them.
those that do have a personal experience to relate tell of the negative effect the religion had on a family member that got involved with them.

Your world view as a JW and what it is now
by Axeman ini have a friend that has left the witnesses but the mindset is still in his head.
it affects the way he views life and his future the years he has left.like the world is so bad he can't find a place for himself in it a future to invest in.
he is thinking of going back to them they offer the only solution that he can relate to wipe it out ( harmageddon ) and start again its like he needs reprogramming to enjoy life

Would anyone like an invite to the memorial?
by Axeman injust visited my 80 year old mother who rarely goes witnessing.
noticed a pile of tracts for the memorial she has been given to distribute.
50 houses is a lot for an old lady you'd think jehovah's organization would cut her some slack.
