Please recommend books/websites about early church history..

i am reading shelly's 'church history in plain language', and enjoying it's down to earth 'layman' style very much.. i would like to read some books on the evolution of church doctrine - hopefully written in the same style.

i am no biblical/historical scholar by admission - and would love to read some literature on how doctrines altered and changed in the early centuries - something that doesn't put one to sleep with it's long-windedness - but also detailed enough, and in plain language enough, to keep me interested.. many of you folks must have favorites - can you recommend them ?.

the term "marital rape" confused me as i am sure it confused others.. but i knew what it was.

Part of the joy of sex for me is the fact that the other person WANTS to get down and dirty. The look in their eyes. The touch, the coyness and then the direct, DO ME NOW stare. Oh yeah, I don't want it any other way than with a very willing partner....

God yes ! I starting to know how you feel man I got a women practically jumping me to bad she has kids. I keep her at arms length for now hehehe.

even though knocking is scheduled for a national pbs broadcast on may .

2007, as many as one-quarter of local pbs stations will not show .

Yah I agree let the public see this it will cause them to look into them and of course find this place where we can tell them the truth about the truth. In fact that they call themselves the truth should turn people off.

I think the fact they use martyrs in one of taglines should tell people what they are.

Martyrs flew planes on 911 as well just not the type we think are good for civilation.

Funny they say their not racist I know a black kingdomhall that would disagree.

They bascicaly took the DPA and turned it into the blood card so now you have this bulky thing that does fit near your licence anymore ( maybe that was by design ) Few dubs bother with the DPA and I bet few bother with that anymore.

It looks just like the last one when folded it's just really fat.

When I was young my best friend at the time got me. I some how repressed it till I was thirteen or fourteen I can't remember, I just remember living in fear thinking god was goin to kill me in the big A.Thankfuly I grew out of it. but I always heard people that were abused tend to abuse So I lived in fear of children still to this day really I don't like being around them for fear of hurting them even though I know now it isn't true.

Anger: I feel like killing the person who attacked me!

Yep I until I got over it I wanted to hurt this guy in fact I will never go to california just so I won't have even the remote chance of running in to him though I think I would pretty much pitty him now. ( I never did do anything about him I know he probally suffered enough )

What about the kids, funny he didn't mention that the HLC is complacent with hospitals forcing blood on kids. Even to the point of telling parents to just let it happen we don't want a scene. In fact he said they are sucessful in getting hospital to go along no blood for kids.

Then he mentioned something about that anonymous bloodless hospital. Then he mentioned the USC has the only bloodless liver and kidney surgery abilty in the world thanks to them. ( funny the brother that died recently from cancer of those regins who refused the surgery to fix it because of blood would have loved to known this ) Oh and the society is training army doctors in the wonders of bloodless treatments. Funny the VA who refused to pay for the affore mentioned brother's surgery because he didn't want blood isn't so intrested.
