  Evolution is Crap, there I said it!

  ok i started another thread and every one jumped on me because i was trying to take the theory of evolution out of the mix and most here seem to believe in it so i will just say it.

  the theory of major evolution is crap!

  the theory is falling apart.

  people going door to door uninvited should be required to get a licence and sercurity check if they are going door to door and required to show it on demand while engaged in the door to door work.. after all it is a perfect stranger for the most part who could be an imposter or maybe even a violent criminal or rapist.

  no one convicted of sexual molestation or violent crimes should be given a permit.

  an added benifit would be less people knocking on your door trying to sell you something be it a vaacum cleaner or armegeddon life insurance protection.. what is your opinon?.

  Yep I agree sex offender resgistries are useless. But the public insists on them so they can Scarlet A the ocasional incidental nudist for life. We can't have kids asking questions about sex it's easier to just ruin someone's life than explain why the sexes are diffrent.

  it seems the people being screwed the most are also the most visciferous defenders of the status quo which sees them being severely disadvantaged.. maternity leave?

  Paul you just proved the point well thing are doing so great here in the US the Canadian just need to grow up.

  Tell it to them when it comes time to buy their oil. They have already made jestures to China as China is willing to pay more for their oil than the US has so far offered. Same goes for a lot of places with oil and China isn't just offering money in Africa they have been building infastructure. Something the US has done atleast not without demanding repayment with interest.

  Sorry blondie but they do, Churches have to comply with OSHA requirements for health and safety. Don't think they didn't fight it they did and lost. They argued it interfered with freedom of worship and the court said freedom of religion does not trumps health and safety of the public or members of the church. That is part of the reason why quick builts aren't so quick any more.

  Again the requirement was that the law had to be for public safety a town near by has instituted this and so far it has stuck the JWs are fighting it but the reason the town wanted it was because they didn't want sexual predators going door to door doing anything period. They weren't targeting witnesses at all. Add on to that all one has to do get the permit is pass a simple background check IE the police check to see if you are on a sex offender list there is no fee.

  Honestly just about all the old stuff that was banned before is now a conscience matter which means it's a grey area and the last talk I heard on conscience matters is a True Christian™ (JW) might as well not do them to avoid stumbling someone. The speaker pretty boldy said grey areas are not really grey they are tainted things and True Christians™ (JWs) avoid tainted things. So you might as well say their lightening the load was a smoke and mirriors campaign. That by the way also includes blood fractions as they are considered a grey area he didn't mention that though.

  Bloundie that ruling was made on the premise that towns were trying to stop free speech and religion. This is under the premise of health and safety and would pass the test. Your religous beliefs and practices can not undermine the health and safety of others.

  Sorry but the US is way overated on just abut everything. I applied for a job and got a job were they couldn't find anyone qulaifiaed to fix simple devices. At my last job we had firing lots of people beuase they could do simple task that high school should of taught them. I am technically a drop and yet can do them becuase I was self taught and still love to learn. Which is something the US education system does everything to discourage.

  one of the most persistent myths on this website is that jws are already in decline, the rot has set in, and the descent of the watchtower is inevitable from here on in.

  unfortunately the facts do not bear this out.

  jws are still increasing even in most developing countries, and they are still growing worldwide at a faster rate than the general population.

  i've been watching a very interesting documentary regarding the state of planet earth.. in a nutshell, (scientifically/physically/factualy) earth is experiencing 'pressure' that points to one inevitable result, to correct itself (or more specifically, to correct the effects of the present human cause, in ex- pollution, global warming, resource depletion etc.)..

  the last time earth 'corrected' itself, there was mass extinction.

  for proof, check out the dinosaur fossil record (unless they are a hoax.).
