ARE YOU UPSET THAT YOU DIDN"T GO TO COLLEGE?

i have read of some people's bitterness because they were denied the opportunity to go to college.

during the 60's and 70's the society really discouraged any education other than what was necessary.

since the end was so near, especially around 1975, anybody that decided to go to "higher education" was considered very weak and unbalanced.

Yes big time !.........I wish my jw parents were more pressing on education with all the kids in our family !

When a child grows up in the informative years and gets plugged in constantly that this worldly system of things will be destroyed soon, this will certainly stumble

intellectual growth and advancement, stunting personal interests as well as passions.

Sadly now, I see my young nephews who are jws by virtue of my sister still being a practicing jw, have their education thwarted and muted, the damaging effects of the WTS. are still there !

Luckily for myself I saw through the BS that the WTS was presenting and left the borg. when I was in my early twenties and did obtain a collage degree...............phew !

Where would mankind be without advanced education..........not a pretty thought

It's somewhat ironic and hypocritical now that the GB of the WTS, are now using and seeking the benefits of advanced education, to benefit their health and welfare today wouldn't

you think ! .............Dickheads

How to block the annoying Flash ads on web pages

one of the things ad blockers fail to do is block the in-page flash ads.

you know, the really annoying ones that move around the screen, play videos and even audio.

i can't stand to have some figure moving around in an ad while i'm trying to read an article... the motion in the corner of my eye is extremely distracting and annoying.

Just a little comment on blood transfusions and children of jws.

Legally speaking would it not make sense if parents who knowingly by action, cause injury or death to their children should be charged with child abuse or neglect !

For example, lets say a religious cult started and did not beleive in modern medical practises and a sick child within the group died due to not getting medical attention. It would seem to me

that legal authorities should go after these parents, regardless of any religious beliefs that the parents may have had. A thousand years ago the Incas sacrificed a child to appease I suppose

their god, this of course was their religion. If this was to happen today wouldn't you think the athorities would take legal action against this group..... to use an analogy. I think they would !

In essence parents today have a legal responsibility with the government to look after the health and welfare of their children at least until the child becomes a age of adult consent .

Personally I think some of these parents that don't approve blood transfusion when necessary should have their children taken away and given a jail sentence or in case of death a long jail

sentence. It would certainly give a good kick in the balls to the WTS. legal department and really give notice to the public what a backward stupid religion this is !

Shame to bad, if they were to win it would have given the WTS such bad press after the media got hold of it, I guess speaking the truth about the truth is not a good thing.

The cover up looks very similar to the Catholic situation, shut up or will strike you with the hand of god so shush. Churches are greart place to hide oneself with a white sheet.

You ever notice when a jw talks about their religion they always comment on how clean pure and righteous they are and we are not like those other bad worldly religions from Christendom

well the fact is they are and they have the lawyers to prove it ! They are after all trying to sell themselves as the one and only true religion on earth, so they will try to fight anything that

contravenes that statement.

Tragic..... I'm not surprised this happened , her lust for money and fame seemed to have done her in, to be honest I never did like her character or persona, come to think about it

most people didn't either ,..... my sympathies do go out to her innocent little daughter though

does anyone know if wedding rings were made to worship a false god?
