  Article That Husbands/Wives Should Not Touch During Public Prayer

  i am experiencing difficulties finding a older thread.

  it was the one that posted the pdf of an article that said that husbands and wives should not touch during prayer at the kh.. if possible, would someone please post a link to that thread?.

  I saw a witness couple locked in inter-course during a assembly prayer !

  Just kidding, but really why would they put a stop to this since it might actually show that love could be found within the organization.

  But then again since most single adults have a difficult time finding appropriate mates within this religion, this

  might actually create inner jealousy within the singles and may even stir up sexual tension.

  if you want to see and observe a large group of sexually up tight and tense people go to an assembly and look around.

  Jaw dropping junk mail offer

  i can usually identify junk mail without opening it and it goes in the trash.

  this one i opened and scanned.

  then i read it again more carefully.

  It may have been a phony devised offer to get peoples personal information from them.

  I have heard of creditors taking advantage of the economic problems and offering credit at an alarming rate of 90% interest rate.

  Does Our Being Former JWs Affect Our Enjoyment of XMas?

  i went to 2 parties yesterday.

  i actually was invited to 4 this year.. i started out at my daughter's at 7:30 a.m. and my daughter, sil, 2 grandkids and my ex gave presents to one another.

  95% of the gifts were for my 2 year old grandaughter because it was really her first xmas to unwrap presents and get into the "spirit".. then i went in the afternoon to my gf's and they had a big spread and we (once again) exchanged gifts.. here's my bottom line: i enjoyed the family and friends getting together.

  Quite frankly I could do without it, the overly commercialized hype is annoyingly old and unmodern.

  The lights can be interesting to look at and they brighten up the neighborhood in the darkness of winter.

  The kids get a kick out the anticipation of the gifts.

  I can certainly see how people can get overly stressed out for the occasion with finding and buying gifts,

  and perhaps the socializing aspect.

  I've learned over the years to just make the whole affair easy and mellow.

  Sometimes I've even traveled to the South Pacific during the holidays just to avoid

  all the festivities, which is good because you come back in the first week in January and its all over.

  He obviously wanted to get his 32 virgins in heaven, what men will do just to have sex .....sheesh

  A dumb 23 yr. old will spend 25 years in a jail cell or more and he wont be getting any virgins.

  What will the elders think?

  a week ago my wife and i ran into a jw nephew and his wife at the supermarket.

  despite knowing that my wife and i are no longer jw's, he was very gracious, giving his aunt and i a warm hug and introducing his wife to us.

  he casually mentioned meeting with the elders and their decision to disfellowship.

  Since there is no policy set for people ( JWS ) getting Tattoos , young JWS to make them not so abnormal or maybe even rebellious are getting tattoos.

  There are so many controls place on the typical JWS anything that hasn't had the hammer dropped on it yet, is eyed as something worthy.

  Hi and welcome to the forum, there are some very nice people here to talk to and discuss fading out of the WTS.

  There are people here that are very knowledgeable about all things JWS and some well versed in theology.

  By the way you shouldn't hate the JWS, for most part they are decent and caring people.

  Who you should direct your anger and disgust to at this time it the corrupt religious publishing company that drives the organization.

  So relax and both inform and express yourself, as well ask any questions that concerns you !
