  i was on the phone complaining to my wife how much i owe in taxes this year.

  no refund.

  she started in about how sister soandso is a pioneer, and since she considers this her career, she claims things like shoes, gas, clothes, and even if she has a part on a circuit or district, she claims the expenses for hotels and such.

  In all honesty from being an outsider that JWS probably cheat on their taxes just as much as the rest of the population.

  What my previous comment was saying that JWS have no sense of respect for local and federal governments because thats

  how they have been indoctrinated by the WTS.

  This has got to have some sort of effect to how JWS comprehend taxes in general.

  I've witness myself quite a few JWS try and cheat on their taxes when they think they can get away with it.

  Giving hard earned money to a evil and worldly government organization doesn't make logical sense.

  Giving money to spiritually clean organization like the WTS. that belongs to god does though.

  No more than people in other churches. No need to vilify JW's unnecessarily.

  The majority of other Church's don't profess that governments are controlled by Satan's manifestations

  so are inherently evil, like the JWS organization does.

  This what sets the JWS apart in how the JWS view wordily governments and the taxes they procure.

  But all is well since these wordily organizations will soon be destroyed by the hand of God ..... isn't that right Think About It ?

  i saw 6 jw zombies walking up a hill near where i live the other day.

  they all were dressed nicely.

  they walked together in twos.

  Being the depressing economic state that the entire world is going through it would

  not be surprising to see a large number returning to seek some emotional support

  down at the Kingdom Hall.

  Likewise with other religious dominations.

  There is also a sorted blackmail aspect to the JWS regarding interpersonal relationships with family members that

  cant be dismissed, which forces people to act indifferent to their own personal integrity regarding religious matters.

  I find that rather far fetched since the WTS is a non-profit organization and that said pioneer is not being paid by the organization for her work.

  You have to be financially receiving income from that work to levy a tax deduction from accomplishing this particular work,

  if my memory serves me JW pioneers do not get paid by the WTS. to do so.

  A part of the JWS indoctrination is to not respect worldly governments, so because of this you find a lot of JWS cheating on their taxes.

  Being a born in and spending countless days at kingdom halls listening to contrived lies and bullshit during all those years,

  not to mention the uncomfortable hours spent in the door to door service , my answer to that is absolutely not.

  There is an obvious anxiousness and emotional stress that gets entwined into the personality and character of being a JWS.,

  something I'm sure is still there today.

  Some 30 years ago a my inner instincts were that the WTS. had put a big one on to the public.

  They were after all in essence a coercive corrupt religious publishing company/corporation and thats all what they will ever be.

  Dangerous and damaging religious charlatans developed by virtue of the freedom of religion in a capitalist country.

  Does the JW Cult Rob People of Their Humanity!

  well for those of you who many not know i gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on the 31st jan, however our joy soon turned to concern when it was discovered our son had breathing problems.

  this concern later turned to fear as we learned that he had a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (cdh) and that he would need an operation asap.. basically our baby had a hole in his diaphragm and most of his digestive system now resided in his left chest cavity compressing his heart and lungs into the remain space in the right cavity.

  this is a very serious condition and much of the information we were given made very bleak reading.

  It seems to me that the Org has managed to dehumanize its members so they are no longer able to understand or feel for their fellow man.

  Absolutely, the WT indoctrination states that this system of things is soon to perish so putting forth an effort to make the world a better place is

  not in accordance with this theocracy, including ones own personal advancement and security.

  All efforts should be to buy and sell the organizations products and advance the power and control of the WTS.,

  which is now known to full of pretentious coercion, manipulation and corruption.

  So yes the WTS does rob ones self from an individuals humanity and replaces it apathetic delusional self provocation.

  i sometimes think the standard christian view of things is this.. mankind, like the people in new orleans after hurricane katrina, are stranded waiting on aid and god flys over and sees them on the roof waving and holding up signs, but, he can't really do as much as he would like to.. he has some stopgap aid here and there for a few, but, mostly everybody just has to do the best they can to hang on.. like federal aid or the national guard---jesus is coming!

  The theology of Christianity is varied throughout the world, some faiths really produce some positive good from this belief.

  The charities and money from these religious organizations put into hospitals, schools and the needy have helped many in a humanitarian sense.

  So there have been much good created from these organizations in recent years.

  This maybe the only viewpoint of Christianity worthy of importance in are modern era.

  The commercialization of Christianity by the WTS. and the JWS organization should be set apart

  of these other organizations for their apathetic progressive self centered theocracy.

  Handbill for 2010 District Conventions

  the wts has announced the usual handbill invitation "campaign" for the conventions this year.

  i haven't seen a copy but i assume that it will be similar to the one for congregation meetings and from previous years.

  the usual 30 per publisher allocation.. i seriously wonder about the efficacy of these campaigns.

  And the conventions themselves are primarily aimed at retaining and encouraging existing JWs rather than "interested persons".

  Exactly , evermore so since the WTS. realizes the easily readable information about their inherent corruption all over the NET..
