I'm with Terry on this for I have witnessed this myself when I was still close to this organization.
A few elders in my hall decided it would be a great idea to broadcast a half hour preaching program on a local
television network. They did so for a few weeks, one of the elders was actually a employee of my father's business,
the word was that the Circuit Overseer heard about this and they were instructed to stop it.
Perhaps it was being too open and uncontrolled and unapproved by the WTS. for it to happen.
Yes its true the WTS does not like being overly exposed to the media, operating behind a veil is the
way they like it, for it offers them complete control and obscurity from close analysis.
