Remember OpenFireGlass?

for those of you who know him, i just can't stop obsessing over this yet, and feel the urge to share, our lovable resident hippie (i can say that 'cause i mean it in a positive way and i adore him, so there), openfireglass, has shorn his dreads.
he gave himself a haircut yesterday and the dreadlocks are no more.. it was a surprise that i came home to after work yesterday.

Anyone good with dream interpretations?
by Sunnygal41 ini had this pretty interesting dream last night, and was trying to figure out what message was trying to be conveyed to me, if any.
i dreamt that i was with my coworker/supervisor from work and we were going to go for a walk for exercise.
this part of the dream is hazy...........we end up in a couple's home, and they have a new baby~~the next part of the dream is clearer, because it is about a family member: my sister.

I know the pain of missing family members and just having to get on with life. It is really hard. Your dreams are actually similar to some of mine.

The simple pleasures

this is something i try to avoid most of the time but it sneaks up on me every so often .
all jokes aside, the thinking was about what's new.

I do think it is the little stuff that matters...
I love getting our baby in the mornings when my husband is home and letting her snuggle with us! It is soooo cute....she likes to tickle daddy and make a little "dodododo" noise like I do when I tickle her!
I also like when it finally (rains) here, and I can light a couple candles and the house is a little dark and cozy.
I like planning to have my husbands family over for thanksgiving and being able to cook for them all.

Dad refuses blood...

he has an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
this means he could die should the aorta ruputre (and it is threatening to do so).

I will have a "go" at interpreting it..
Since you started out excersizing, you are on a path of doing what is good for you. Since you are with someone you work with and have a relationship with, it means you are finding out who is "there" for you now.
The part with your sister means that you feel bad because you have people you are leaving behind and don't "know" much about anymore, and that is part of the reality.
So....do you think I am close?

Are You Angry That You Didn't Get To Celebrate The Holidays?

i think birthdays and xmas are important ones to make sure that you give and get gifts.
perhaps it's because i never experienced the "joy of the holidays".

thing is, people have been calling me nic' online for almost nine years now so who am i to say that nic' is not real.. if i'm ever disfellowshipped i know that one of the first things i'll do is 'come out' on jwd and tell you all who i really am - will that mean that i'm killing 'nic'?
should we all resist getting attached to our usernames and avatars?.

I think it is neat to have people call me "megs" because I get a "glimpse" into what my daughter will be called. I think I named her well!! I hardly hear my name either...My husband calls me babe, my sisters call me "sis" or Lyn....when I hear "Lyndi" I have to remind myself that's ME!
