  Update on Grandson

  can't believe what's going on over at the hospital where he and his family are.

  his mother was acting out of her head and they found out she had pneumonia at the hospital yesterday and today my son, her husband was taken to the intensive care because of not breathing.

  they both were there to be with their son who had his biopsy.

  I think that I'm getting carpal tunnel

  my right wrist hurts every time that i use the mouse.

  i've got a towel under my wrist now.

  anybody got any cures for a sore wrist?

  You can get carpal tunnel braces for pretty cheap at the drug store...then if you wear them at night or when useing the puter, it should help.

  America's Most Wanted episode... Rick McLean

  over a month ago, amw filmed several of rick mclean's victims who were victimized while he served in authority in a number of jw congregations in and around san diego, california.. .

  mclean found victims thru his involvement in jw congregations, and kept many quiet for years by intimidation/ 'no one will believe you'.. .

  the episode is 'in the can', and mclean, who fled when he learned he would be arrested, is on the loose.you can bet he is molesting some child presently; he is a lifetime molester.. .

  I just called and the person I spoke to put a reguest in to the producers. I also let him know how McLean is "on the run" and mentioned that it is a big problem among the JW's...and how I personally knew that 10 out of 12 girls molested by a guy in the KH I attended as a girl, and told the person I spoke to about the JW rule saying there needs to be 2 "witnesses" to an offense.

  the reason i ask is i read a book called the five people you meet in heaven.

  Ohhhhhh, good one!

  For me, heaven would be a place with all my family and loved ones there. I would like there to be animals and have a country atmosphere. If I had to make my own heaven, I am so limited to the things I know of on this earth....and I think it couldn't be as good as what God could come up with....if there is such a place. I guess I like my little peice of "heaven on earth", those days with my hubby and baby doing little things together, like going to a park. I am simple to please.

  So....You are saying I only have 4 years till the obsession wears off....whew! I thought I would be obsessed forever!LOL!!

  I am a stay at home mom and I check the board off and on all day, most days. I post here and there depending on whats going on and if I feel like I have something to say....So every day for me!

  I have an IDEA....an "Apostate smokeout"

  ok....maybe this is stupid, but i was thinking of all of us setting up a day to go to the meeting and all that are here and hiding, or just lurk here could participate and we could set up an underground support system.

  it would just entail a simple gesture at the meeting....like holding a tissue, or some toilet paper.

  (like you had a runny nose) if there are elder lurkers and they tried to "catch" someone doing this...what could they say.."why are you holding a tissue????????

  The whole reason I thought the tissue idea was good is because it is such a SUBTLE sign...not like everyone participating wearing red or something. It is very common to have a tissue, and like it was said...some older sisters might even get a raised eyebrow. The point would not be to OUT everyone real quick...it would be like mabe you regularly notice someone with a tissue and if an elder asks why you have a tissue, well you have a runny nose...what a weird question. Maybe it wouldn't work for someone like me to go to a meeting and do it, but maybe people still hiding in it could just start doing it to find out who is going through the same thing.

  i am very sad that i am in this situation.

  it is pretty much my own fault that i have this situation...but i didn't know at the time what all the consequenses would entail.

  (i got real ddepressed and left my jw husband and da'd myself after i had a baby with him) my daughter is a happy well adjusted kid with a new jw mom and an elder dad.

  Thanks for the reponses...I know I have to be patient with responses because not everyone has this kind of situation.

  I get to see her a couple times a year. We live in texas and she is in Ohio. I saw her in June, after I had her sister, and we talkon the phone a few times a week. We still are very conected in my opinion. It is a hard situation and I just wish she could have a normal life.
