she's a woman of particular faith; and it's too late for a conversion, and she gets a ticket to the new system anyway, so what a convenient excuse to do nothing.

I agree with you...whatever she gets comfort from at this time....that is the least of what people deserve in this world. So sad.

Wow....you have certainly been through some really hard times. I think many of us here can relate to quite a few parts of what you have been through, and for the things we have not suffered....there is compassion for those that have.

They take on the attributes of their God.......Oh so loving and caring untill you do one little thing...then its all fire and brimstone on your a$$!! If our families are the same, then I bet they are all relishing the thought of us "wicked ones" being "faint out of fear" and then BAM....dead.

the title of the thread is more geared towards those who found out the truth about the truth via the internet.
the very first time the word "jehovah" or "watchtower" appeared in a negative light on your computer screen, were you casually surfing the web as a good little jw, or were you intentionally searching for an explanation over something you knew to be wrong in the organization?.
for me, i started visiting h2o back around 1996. i think i simply plugged in "jehovah" in a netscape seach engine and viola!
I was lucky to have found so much information when I finally decieded to "make the truth my own". I had so much guilt for years about leaving...then I found out that the organization is a bunch of crap...and there went my guilt!

not to "hash out" some "personal" issues, but to give the general public the "proof" that the society is spewing nonsense to it's members time and time again about the "end is coming" for all who are not jw's.. it would be easy to get the proof with the recording that we all have access to on here.

Also, children getting baptised. They are soooo "holier than thou" when it comes to not practicing infant baptism....but they think nothing of children as young as 8 (if not younger) dedicating their lives to their miserable religion.

I agree with all that you have all said. I have written e-mails to Dr. Phil also, without response....but I will continue to try. I do think that God will give them their due though. I don't wish to "punish" the society as much as I would like to expose their lies to the public.
