particularly i would like books, or websites, or personal experiences, suggestions on step by step methods, to carefully present ideas to those who are staunchly pro jw, without alienating them further.

i am especially interested in situations in which a df person was able to finally break down the barriers.

I totally agree with Xander.

If you do any research on pedophilia, they don't just wake up one day and start having intercourse with a child. There is a continum the pedophile travels along, starting out with small gestures that increase in frequency, duration, intensity and boldness.

Often, the pedophile 'sets up' his targets, and practices his art, with just such games as was described here. Although the photographs and underwear and so on COULD have been innocent fun (that's very hard to believe) in any case, they ARE well-known and established ways that pedophiles begin their career.

I find it ridiculous that the members of the group didn't 'think to say anything'. That strains crudulity. The nature of the games themselves are a tip-off that something wasn't 'right' on that 'camping trip'; but the sworn to silence is also the biggest tip-off that all was not well that day. Assuming the facts have been accurately reported:

Proof that this is not just a 'camping trip gone wrong'...

1)the nature of the games and the adult participation. Healthy adults don't play these games. There is, in this game, a total lack of respect and appreciation for dignity of a person here. It is established conclusiviely that pedophiles and pre-pedophiles play games EXACTLY LIKE THIS.

2)The delay between the child being missing and the call for authorities. This delay WAS plenty of time to fabricate stories, hide or destroy evidence, (such as footprints) and also time enough for any telltale forensic evidence to 'disappear'.

3) Lack of forthrightness and cooperation of the entire camping party. "Didn't think to say it'? I don't THINK SO. Police are not this stupid ANYWHERE..I hope. More likely there was duress to keep silent--and one brave soul eventually spoke up. This ,too, is common where peophilia has existed.

You'll notice I didn't use Watchtower or JW or religion at all in my little commentary? It's not relevant and it wasn't necesary.

The thing is, tho, there is, thanks to the good work of a lot of good people, and increased awareness of pedophilia among JW's. This is a good thing---except for pedophiles. Pedophiles are like addicts that need their fix; in this new atmosphere of awareness and iniative, pedophiles are finding it harder and harder to get their 'fixes'. They are going to have to work harder, plan more, and take many many more risks to get what they want.

Parents..WATCH YOUR CHILDREN!!!! PLEASE!!!!

THE MENACING "TRAP" OF THE "BIRDCATCHER"

14 "For," says the psalmist in detailing just how the things mentioned in the first two verses are true and realistic, "he himself will deliver you from the trap of the birdcatcher, from the pestilence causing adversities."-Ps. 91:3.

15 The language here is figurative, pictorial, for we are not literal birds in danger of the trap of a literal "birdcatcher." But the likening of us to birds "under the very shadow of the Almighty One" is carried forward here. The psalmist David likens himself and his companions to birds that have actually been caught in the trap, but from which they have been delivered. In Psalm 124:1-8 he says: 16 In fulfillment of that prophetic psalm, Jehovah God did break the trap in which the anointed remnant of spiritual Israel was caught. It was the trap sprung by Babylon the Great and her political, judicial, military accomplices. In the spring of the postwar year of 1919 Jehovah broke that trap for his repentant remnant and did not let the "baiters," the symbolic birdcatchers, sink their teeth into the flesh of the trapped "bird." Thereafter the escaped remnant of spiritual Israel were taken into the "secret place of the Most High," and "under the very shadow of the Almighty One." Yet a "trap" is still set for them by a "birdcatcher," and Jehovah must deliver them from being caught in it.

17 Who, then, is that "birdcatcher," and what is his "trap"? It has long been discerned and agreed to that the symbolic "birdcatcher" is Satan the Devil. Away back in the issue of March 1, 1904, of the Watch Tower, the article entitled "Under His Wings!" commented on Psalm 91:3 and said regarding "the snare of the fowler," that this was "the deceptions of Satan, in which all those not protected shall stumble." (Page 74, column 2) A much later issue of The Watch Tower agreed with that and said: "It seems certain that 'the fowler' here named by the prophet is the Devil, and that his snare consists of his methods employed, and by his organization, working in divers and numerous deceptive ways to entrap those who claim to be servants of the Most High God." (Page 231, paragraph 37, of the Watch Tower issue of August 1, 1927, presenting the first of a series of three articles on Psalm 91, Authorized Version) Of all the symbolic "fowlers" or "birdcatchers" referred to in the Bible, Satan the Devil is the outstanding one.

In other words, they are leaving themselves open to adding anything or anybody to the 'birdcatcher' ranks as they please.

However, it may have seemed to some as though that path has not always gone straight forward. At times explanations given by Jehovah's visible organization have shown adjustments, seemingly to previous points of view. But this has not actually been the case. This might be compared to what is known in navigational circles as "tacking." By maneuvering the sails the sailors can cause a ship to go from right to left, back and forth, but all the time making progress toward their destination in spite of contrary winds.

when we read here we se a lott of backside in this religion, and peopel who read here can belief that it is not a attractiv religion, but who comes that from this famus man franz who as you say stripp this religion ,jw have a tremendus growth,from 2 million to 6millon on 20 year is unbelevebel, some qestion is important ,why and what is the attraction?

Considering the growth rate of the world's religious blocks, Christianity is by far the fastest-growing religion in the world today. The total population of the world increases by 1.72% annually. This is just one website, most of the numbers from various sources seem to more or less conincide with one another. Many of the larger religions are getting a little smaller, with smaller religions getting a little bigger.

For instance, not far from me, two churches melded together to form one interdenominational/interfaith group of about two thousand. They have to meet in shifts, and that is happening all over the city I live in. There are also some Jewish and Islamic and Hindu and Buddhist interfaith churches in my neighborhood.

And Watchcowards "woe is me woe is me" to the contrary, we have not had a world war in close to sixty years. People are planning all kinds of things for the 75th anniversary of the end of World War 2. (Watchtower not invited.

The only place that 'the love of the greater number is cooling off' is Watchtower and non-christian religions. Hmmmm...what a coincidence.
