  i had some weird ideas that took a long time to dispell.

  Anyone still have an old "call book"?

  i was just curious if anyone still has their old call book(s); i have no clue what happened to mine.

  someone was talking about bloodguilt on here recently, which made me think of return visits and how i used to feel panicked about being bloodguilty if i did not get back to them.

  It's my BIRTHDAY and I'll CRY if I want too!

  it really is my birthday and of course my jw husband can not celebrate this with me.

  i thought i was ok with this, beacause this is my 3rd birthday with him and i have never felt this sad before.

  but now that he trying to be reinstated i am so angry with him for not telling me what it would .

  Let's share what's left of the day celebrating together! It's my birthday today too! The first I get to celebrate since I was a really little kid. I got 3 cards (one from dad and 2 from my grandmas).No friends yet to get a card from though- so you're ahead of me there sweetie! I hope you find some happiness and know you are loved. We all will celebrate with you here. I am waiting till Thursday for my actual cake and dinner---too much going on at the kids school this week, had our little guy's Christmas Musical tonight, so swinging in the park and dinner at McDonalds was the order of the night for now!

  How many songs are stored on your computer or IPod?

  there is a very good used book/music/dvd store near my home, and i visit them regularly.

  i don't own an ipod, but on this computer i have currently 4172 songs stored on the hard drive, 341 hours worth of music.

  however, i'm sure that many folks have even more.

  What XMas Present Would You Like This Year???

  one thing that jws do, whether they were "strong in the truth" or not is accept presents.

  even if they don't "celebrate" thanksgiving, they'd still take the turkey from the employer.

  if someone sent out a birthday gift or christmas present, a witness would still take but never givein return.

  ok, i was inspired by bstndance (sp?)..

  when my mom came up to the hospital to see hannah she had told me that before she decided to come, she called bro so and so, an elder.

  the way i took it was to make sure it was ok. to get some good healthy counsel.. it made me laugh later.

  In my opinion (who else's would it be), people in general like to be told what to do if there is a chance that they can do it wrong. BUT there are those who do what they want and deal with the consequences of their actions, JW's are taught to do what their told and not make their own decisions from infancy.
  
  I think it is amazing that some of us raised as a JW's, ever have the ability to have their OWN opinions.
