) but canada actually has a national election today.. first results are starting to come in and so far it's all liberal party.. i think it's time harper and the conservatives got the boot.

Village I think both parties adopt a wait and see attitude. No matter what they say publicly.

You have to remember Canada is a largely untapped reserve of global commodities that neither party wants to lay waste to.

If what Simon says is correct about voter turn out being favorable to the Liberals then its a good sign locally for the Liberals. Any thing I say is representative of only a half hour at the polls that have been collecting votes all day. So regard it as anecdotal. I have never had to wait in line like I did tonight and there were a lot of pissed off people.

I ask that others here give us a little bit of a break tonight. Canadians have traditionally given so much globally without much respect or acclaim. So bear with us tonight.

Just got back from voting here in Ontario. I have never seen anything like it something is in the air tonight! At least here in Conservative Country. I can hardly wait......

Yes they are hard wired that way. I'll never forget a young gay JW whose family pushed him so hard into being heterosexual that he committed suicide. I think he really wanted to be heterosexual but just couldn't fake it anymore.

After reading that I feel so sorry for those poor deluded people. Sounds just like the meetings 30 years ago. My only compassionate response to them and especially the older ones would be that I hope death overtakes them before their delusions evaporate. SO so sad.

bible prophecy did say israel / jews would be scattered then eventually brought back.
