About 7000 inhabitants, of which,,,, ### are JWs.

He pioneered there long time ago, long before he was married and I came into the world...just thought it was interesting that someone chose that island as their place of origin.

i for one, would blindly trust just about anyone on this forum, just the fact of knowing that you already were a jw.. does this mean that jw's in general are better people or are we a very close bunch of people?.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses Have The "Right" To Practice Their Religion???

whether we agree with them or disagree---i think they have a right to practice their religion----although i disagree with their beliefs.

HOWEVER, I think it should be mandatory that any group that is actively trying to recruit others into their group, no matter what that group is (religious or not), should have to provide a written TRUTHFUL statement that covers EXACTLY what they believe, and EXACTLY what they expect from people who join their group.

If that was the case, I believe we would not be so bitter about this high control group...

if the WTBTS was at least HONEST about their tactics and their doctrines, then we can hold the persons joining them accountable. Until that day (when pigs fly?), the organization should be held accountable for their deceit and lies.

But yes, to stay in topic, JW's do have the right to practice their religion according to the laws of the country they are practicing in.

i was just looking at terry's thread and as i read the responses the only thing that came to my mind was the ways i know i will not die.

i know i will not die in a car accident or by drowning.

i have already faced death (or you could say cheated) in those situations.

i will not die eating olives or cilantro.

I will not die kissing someone's ~~ass~~ donkey.

I will not die without telling my loved ones that i love them because i tell them everyday.

i think all people can communicate at a higher level for eg how many can times do you and your partner think of the same thing at the same time?

or you can be thinking of a person and they ring you?.

but if you really feel that you are psychic or that you communicate with "dead people" how did you cope with it when you were a witness?.

they experiences are weird feefity...one time when I was young I was in the classroom when I heard this noise like a ripping kind of sound then it was followed by a weird smell...when I looked round at the guy sitting next to me he had this really evil smile.....wanted to get out of there as fast as possible but couldn't...the teacher would have told my mum......then one time I was eating a pie and it tasted horrible...a horses name kept coming into my mind as I was eating it..."SHERGAR"....still cant explain that one either.....another time I was sitting in a restaurant and this person kept talking about the saving "planet earth"....I thought to myself..."thats where I stay"!!!!!...spooky or what mrs?.....muhahahahaha......think I'm telekninjetik?

I laughed so much, thank you, I needed that more than you know
