one of the few unfounded (i think) accusations that have been thrown at me by certain people is that i have caused 'untold damage' to the silentambs cause.. i don't know quite what this is supposed to mean or what i'm suppoed to have done or whether it is anything more than just 'mud' flung by people who find it easier to criticise rather than actually do anything.. over the last year (is it?
) i've been happy to promote the silentlambs cause and have hosted links to bills site and vidoes / sound files of tv programmes, radio reports, photo's of the march etc... as well as providing a place for people to meet and arrange things.
i hope it has been useful and helpful to at least some people.. if i have inadventantly held things up in some way then i unreservedly and wholeheartedly apologise.. all i can say is, i do my best and may not always get things right.
I learned of Silentlambs and Bill's site from visiting this site. Also, the important advances that Bill has made in his campaign have been posted on this site by him, allowing everyone here to share in his successes.
The site has been instrumental in planning the Silentlambs march. Individuals from this site ordered the lambs and still others assisted those with less materially in getting planefare and rooms that they otherwise would not have to able to afford.
All Silentlambs owe you, Simon, and your wife a debt of graitude for the immeasurable work you have done in aiding their cause.
I cannot imagine who would say things to the contrary, but they are obviously in denial as to the facts of the matter.
Those who seek to diminish our efforts do so in order to elevate theirs.
since this will be my first time going to las vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am going on oct 16-18. we are staying at the hotel luxor--the one with the sqhinx in the frount.
so, tell me in the short time we are there (this my boyfriend's first time in vegas too) what can we absolutly not miss??????????
Oh Jesika. you are going to have so much fun.
Vegas is one of the only places I know where you can just walk around, go from hotel to hotel, and have a great time. In Circus Circus there is an amusement park with great rides, guessing games, the works. Madam Tusseau, the wax museum, is at the Paris Hotel. You'll love that. You can take pictures with both movies stars and the politically infamous.
Don't neglect the buffets. The Luxor has a great one. All that food for one price!
Have a fabulous time and take lots of pictures.
two weeks ago, i checked out (saw) barber shop.
it was very funny and very entertaining.
it was very true to life.
He also insuated that many black people had done what Ms. Parks did but her story was the first one to get any attention.
This is true. She was not the first black woman who refused to give her seat to a white person.
They used Rosa Parks because she embodied their belief of what a good "colored" person should be. She was married, she had kids, she went to church.
One of my daughters went to see the movie and she said that it was hysterical.
hey guys, does anyone know if cassiline is doing okay?
i had e-mailed her about two weeks ago and received no reply yet.
i have not noticed any posts from her in a while, though i could be mistaken.
Yes, Cassi was going to the march and she and her family were to stay with me. I emailed her to finalize plans and never heard back. I, too, am worried.
i just heard this song today on the radio coming home from work.
i remember when it first came out a couple of years ago and i couldn't listen to it.
it was for me one of those songs that made me wonder why i couldn't have a love like that.
Bikerchic, Onacruse, are we EVER going to see those pictures!
It;s a deal Joy.
I wanted to come but you know why I could not.
However, I did hear all about it from some unusual sources.
I'll tell you about it one of these days.

CONGRATULATIONS, GRANDPA!
Please advise me when the birth takes place.
I would deem it a privilege to be able to send the newborn a stuffed panda!
