    Fading: A Little Craziness Helps

as you may know, i am a zealous advocate of using depression as a means of fading out of the organization.. let me add that a hint of craziness or mental illness can work wonders, too.

instead of shunning you, your witness.

relatives and "friends" may make quite an allowance for you, if you just keep your mouth shut about deep apostasy.. they may just feel sorry for you and leave you alone- at least, that's largely my experience.. remember that movie that said "love means never having to say you're sorry"?

i just left a post on the "pa convention" thread concerning some of the hardships and difficulties that jws had to (or some here still have to?

) endure just to either get to a convention or what they go through after getting to the convention.. having to trot around from designated doors to the restrooms (rather than being ordered to use the door they told you to) no matter where your family was sitting..... or having you and your family have to climb way too many stairs on the last upper tier to find seats.....while plenty of empty seats remained on the ground floor that were never used that whole day?.

or the designated wts-regulation-sized cooler you had to lug into the stadium because you weren't allowed to leave the site to get a snack or a drink?.

awww yes i remember the rediculousness! the last conventions i went to i was 13, 14 and i spent all my time either looking for hotties with my binoculars, doodling on my notepad or wandering around looking for a Mother whose baby or toddler i could help with since this meant we got to hang around in the empty hallways during the talks.

i always felt bad for the older people struggling to make it to the conventions and people with small children- sitting there ALL DAY LONG that in itself is bad enough. also forcing people who are already giving all they have ($) to pay for accomodations and then asking for MORE donations on top of that- pretty crappy imo.

brings up another topic- who is organizing protests outside conventions?

Who's giving out candy this Halloween?

yeah, so this year, for the first time ever, ever, ever, my roommates and i are having a halloween party, and there will be much candy given out to the small army of children on our block who will no doubt be trick or treating.

i'm really looking forward to it.

has anyone ever thought of getting all costumed up on halloween and then hitting all of the elder's houses?

Did u want to leave the org bcause u were doing something immoral?

..and then sought to justify your leaving the organisation/religion by researching websites like this (to salve your conscience, justify continuing in your pleasurable but unscriptural lifestyle), or did you sincerely leave purely because you discovered certain false teachings, scandals, etc, while still living a moral, christian lifestyle?

be honest now, i mean really honest.

(this is not meant to offend anyone but viewed like a survey).

    1. WTS did not care about my future (education) WTS did not care that everything they taught ME growing up in thier religion taught me to be self destructive in REALITY.

    2. WTS is immoral, lies, covers up its mistakes, protects child abusers, propogates mass ignorance, props up immoral people to lead its followers.
