Hmmm. Interesting question. However, Jehovahs (who?) Witnesses are the true religion and if you say they are not you are in terrible danger of bad Judgement from God himself and all those you have misled will be on your hands. Do not be misled - turn back now. A few mistakes in their teachings (as the light came to be firmly established in this time of the end) is nothing compared to the great spiritual truths they have uncovered. The Faithful and Discreet slave have done wonders for our understanding of their Bible ( sorry, The Bible) and we should thank Jehovah that we have them to guide Us. So they have through love for us had to readjust our thinking. They are there for our protection, to help us avoid wordly association and keep us pure. Praise be to Jehovah God for sending our spirtual food at the proper time. Please do not mislead Potential Sheep away from Jehovahs mountain and temple. Please be reminded that our life is all we have and only constant dedication to Jehovah God, his organization and association with his people, selling lots of magazines and hassling people to convert to the truth will save us and our loved one . If we love our fellow Humans and God we will endeavour in the Christian Ministry.

Convert to the Watchtower - sell the Religion to all your friends, disown the worldly ones who reject Jehovah. Oh, hang on a Second, got to pause typing for the Psychiatric Nurse..............

It's heart breaking to see the brainwashing that goes on through the constant subliminal messaging. Its worth me mentioning that someone I know who has recently returned to the wonderful "mother" organization, one of the first things they know of by heart is the location of the scripture " Bad associations spoil useful habits" !!!! That took me by surprise , and disappointed me. Its like being pulled in, sucked in . 1 Corinthians 5:11 -13 , why did that not apply to Judge Rutherford. It's a shame that Aisleyne has a mum who puts devotion to her "mother" organization and governing body above the authority of the God she is supposed to worship and above the love she should feel for her own child - J witnesses I believe do not know what love is. Love is "unconditional". It is frightful. A Jehovahs witness will, before they do you any favours, first judge your loyalty to the "truth" , a huge proportion of my family are witnesses and I tell you that, a few bad criminals I have known in the past, have better morals.

One thing you do NOT do in the criminal underworld is

1) Rape of a woman - The Awake recommends that a woman remembers her Rapist is a person with feelings!!!! However, the volume it is in was mysteriously missing for the local KH library.

{2) Noncing (kiddie fiddling) - Rename the 'Kingdom Hall 'to ' Paedophiles Refuge ' A brother who sexually abused his own daughter, admitting to the elders it was ' weakness ' was simply rebuked! His OWN daughter ! What wickedness!!!

Have you ever seen a JW soup kitchen ? If I was sleeping rough in the streets (as I have done several times in my Life), the Witnesses would hand me a Watchtower. Hardly a fulfillment of : 2 Corinthians 9:7 -9 " He hath scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness abound for ever." or Proverbs 19:17 " He who is kind to the poor Lends to the Lord" . But, with Witnesses, they only want to know you if you are devoted to the Org. If Aisleyne had been a devout Sister for ten years, her parents would watch her carefully and measure their affection on her dedication to the Org. It baffles me.

To active or questioning JWs: Are you rational?

for those of us whove discovered the truth about the watchtower society, it is never surprising when a person who devotes him or herself to an examination of all the pertinent information soon sees theyve been misled.

of course this can only be true for those who, as was the case with me, believe that the watchtower society represents the sole channel of communication from god for rational reasons.

if you are among those who hold this belief for primarily emotional reasons, it is possible that nothingno matter how convincingwill allow you to use your mind on this subject.

Well, it's funny becasue at what point do you consider that it isn't the truth anymore? Let me explain. Jesus stated that he would come on an hour nobody knows, and that the sheep and goats would be divided and that the preaching work would take place just before the end and that christians should evangelize. Also, that fornication was a gross sin and so on, so these are TRUTHS within the structure of the biblical arangement which if you believe that must be observed.

Now, how about this , Jesus never existed and was a rehash of Egyptian legends - and that the bible is also a rewrite of the Egyptian holybooks (the Israelites came from Egypt conveniently) The simularity between Jesus and Iris or Osis are most compelling and then there's the Roman SunGod (name escaps me!) who is so similar to Jesus , even down to coming down from heaven to cleanse us from sin, and having twelve disciples, now thats a little too close for comfort - surely when you study these, you are left with no doubt ????

Perhaps. There is virtually no mention of Jesus in the history books, with Historians agreeing that Josephus comments were " added later". Very interesting. The bible is not that impressive technically, when you consider that the Egyptians knew the actual circumference of the earth, let alone Jobs comments that it was round ( a circle ) which it actually isn't.

Why the WTBTS even control you down to the conversations you have ( Jehovahs Witnesses enjouy talking about the ministry" - in other words converting more people to the cause)

My Kingdom Hall is near extinction!!

our kingdom hall was started in 1973 with only 3 families totaling 13 people.it grew to 85 members in the early 90's and that's because many were related to these 3 families.with older members dying,the young leaving when they reach 18, 5 divorces and many disfellowshipped,the congregation is down to 26 members.talk about low morale.

I notice that at my local kingdom hall, it's almost empty. I asked one of the elders where everyone was and he told me they were on holiday. Well, I've been a couple of times throughout the year and its always been just as empty. Theocratic warfare perhaps? HOLIDAY?

Its the 1975 situation all again, when many people left because their expectations weren't seen, ie the end of this system within the 1914 generation and the end of this century, which they did proclaim (although thats been omitted) Oh those of little faith. At the end of this system, many will fall away, now is the time people......

At which point do you stop believing, I mean lets face it, we all make mistakes - supporting the Nazi party for example. Yep, can't hold that against em. Although does not the bible say " the devil is a liar and ther father of the lie."? So whats with all this theocratic warfare ???

Disfellowshipping is good for a person

my spouse was df'd 4 years before we were married.

within 13 months she was "re-instated" and by the time we were married had almost healed from the "loving" treatment she endured in her "disfellowshipped state.".

she sincerely believes that her life was enriched by being disfellowshipped because, as a third generation jw she had never "made the truth her own.

My uncle was disfellowshipped 35 years ago for some thing stupid, yet my other uncle who severely physically abused his kids I am supposed to respect as an elder, whilst not even saying a greeting to the other.

If this argument doesn't convince you then you are BEYOND HOPE. Remember, Jesus spoke to Satan. The sick $*^£^$£" elder who made comments about me and my three year old brother having SEX I am supposed to respect too. I give him something, not respect.And all the time not even speaking to my Disfellowshipped uncle in the street.

what a wonderful response i have received from my last (which was my first post) post from everyone here.

the one thing that was drilled into my head was that you can not trust anyone that is not a jw.

i had only one worldly friend since high school and she has been there for me thru everything.

Well, they have to because all us Goats are deserving of death for rejecting Jehovah ( who ever he is, as there is no J in Hebrew language and Jehovah comes from inserting the vowels of Adonai [lord] into YHWH and means according to the ever loving WTB+TS "he who causes to become" rather than Yahweh which means we think " He who is") and are of course, entirely wicked.

There are good people out there. No shadow of a doubt - look for example how many people donated to the Indonesian earthquake tsunami disaster fund - of course unfortunately, lets not kid ourselves - it was all stolen and pilfered away. The Dem Republic of Congo should be Africas richest country, but some leader there has pilfered between $20 and $ 40 BILLION from their funds - using it to keep himself in a life of luxury. The world is SICK, but always has been!! In the UK in the 13th century, everybody knew someone or of someone who had been murdered. The whole system is wrong, but thats life unfortuately. For example, the rich. I say if you can make a fortune, well thats your reward. Take Bill Gates, unfair business practises certainly, but he and Warren Beaty give a FORTUNE away - (tax evasion? No not really they give too much)

The truth is? What defines a good person. According to JWs to be a good peson you go out and sell magazines, convert and hassle people to become JWs because of love for them. Well I can tell you a childhood story. My brother and I (4 and 5 years old) were one night being looked after by our JW grandmother whilst our mum went to work and she said to me when she went " dont play" so at night we were in bed with our teddies, making no noise just talking as kids do - he said" I be mom you be dad" ( I remember this like it was yesterday) we lay in our beds making no noise, with the bedside light on. But I remembered seeing a huge figure standing by our bedroom door listening in (we had slits in our bedroom door as it was wood built like window shutters) I was our JW Grandmother. The next morning we got the biggest good hiding !! I asked my mum years later about it she said " I said don't play Gran UP" In other words, my good Christian JW Gran had LIED to get us a good hiding, two children - infants. Yep, now she talks to me I am thirty now " I dont think you're really interested in " the truth" she says.Well to be honest, she lies constantly ( its not lying its "bending the truth" ) and I think, you're a Christian? My JW aunt and her elder husband physically and severely abused their children for years, and she's preaching to me about God!!!!! Lan DI incidentally, is not my real name !! I could tell you much worse stories about JWs I know ( we do however all make mistakes, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God the scriptures say - we're talking shocking stuff I not wish to repeat ) but I won't.

Yeah, Jehovahs Witnesses really can talk. These Christian really are nothing of the sort. Do you know the Awake of 84 tells Women to remember that their rapists are people with feelings??? Yeah well, I say a Rapist once he becomes a rapist is no longer human, and if (date rape a more grey area) needs be - do what it takes. just remember to scream girls, else you "will be as good as dead anyway" and guilty of fornication according to JWs.

Well, interesting point. In Blackpool (England) We had two annointed - one recently passed away (2.5 years ago) and the other was close to death.(they're all getting on you see) According to Scripture the remaining annointed will be carried straight to heaven at Armageddon - so there must be some left.The latest JW teaching is that therefore Armageddon is imminent within the next couple of years as they are all old and decrepid. Well, I can see that being revised - it seems the WTS is hinting at 2030/40 for Armageddon in its publications recently - as they are repeatedly comparing Now to Noahs day (subtle hints) The great crowd is the new flock, not the annointed who have all now been chosen. I will get a year book and check the figures - probably.

But, In the Michael Jackson case, a member of the Annointed appeared on a TV chat show to show support for him, and he didn't look older than 50/55 or less. Look up on the NET - Michael Jackson JW in good standing.

Well, maybe we should be thankful for the warning. How many religions warn us of the impending destruction, not very many. How many religions peddle false ideologies? LOTS. Are JW one, or have they just got a few things wrong? Each person is responsible for his or her own relationship with their creator and so on and so forth.

But, I cannot get my head around this fact. Jehovahs Witnesses (our beloved 'mother' the WTBTS ) is telling us not to seek an education or career in this world, as it could end any minute and will end with fast impendment - so , why are they building luxury apartments in NY if the end is near, why have they paid out the biggest settlement in their history recently ( fatal car crash, bethel member driving ) to protect their future interests and avoid a precedent being set? And why, if I am advised not to seek a higher education which could take 2/3 three years, are the local congregation asking for an extra £100 pounds a week towards renovation of the KH in eight years time " so that we can bring glory to Jehovahs name*" .

* Er, haven't you (WTBTS) dragged that name through the mud with your letting children die without a blood transfusion, ( Thats child ABUSE. If I want to die for my belief that transfusions are ungodly - thats fine I am an adult. Children cannot have their own mind and even more interestingly, I recently read an extremely high ranking surgeon who deals in warzones (sorry don't have name to hand) that children DIE TOO EASILY - they don't understand the need to fight death!!! In other words, an ill child deprived of blood needed will deteriorate FASTER and be more likely to slip away than an adult! IT should be ILLEGAL!!!!!!!! Even though we're all gonna be destroyed . They're ok though, even if they allow their child to die by withholding life saving treatment. The bible says I think in Timothy that : "a man who neglects his family is worse than a man without faith." . And that in (is it Ezeikiel?) YHWH stated that when the Israelites were sacrificing their kids to him " It never evene entered into my heart.". To me they should be charged with inditement to manslaughter - minimum. Is Michael Jackson INNOCENT??

Well, the leading US prosecutor said that he was a CLASSIC paedophile (If it looks like a duck,walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck) This is textbook, and is surely indisputable. The first case brought against him ( in which he settled a HUGE settlement) the prosecutor in the case said that he had a camera in the hall to his bedroom (bear in mind there was a secret passageway in his room leading to a childs bedroom) with an alarm to alert him if anyone was approaching - and that he almost charged him for THAT alone ( ie : he could be alerted to anyone coming and cease any impropriety) The Neverland ranch he said was so higly guarded, no body could get into it without permission.

Jackson even continued to talk to the first boy on the phone after the allegation was made, surely not??? An arrogant attitude, Ive done nothing wrong. I tell you, anyone who accuses usof anything such, we wash my hands and despise for slander.

WELL, NOT NECESSARILY. I watched a programme on him on VH1, and it changed my view, perhaps??? He was very into the JW belief system, even when meeting a fan at the age of 15, the first thing he asked her was " Do you beleive in the devil" and spent an hour witnessing to her about the witnesse believe system. ( The Witnesses actually knocked on her door the NEXT day, holy spirit anyone?) The fact is, Jacko is a very confused young man weighed down by JW teachings and may therefore in resisting his naturally manside (as witnesses teach, to not date unless you wish to marry, not go near a non witness, not date a witness unless in exemplary standing) have turned ASEXUAL.

The textbook has been torn up. Is he innocent. Quite possibly. Still weird though...............
