  Do Not Say: "The Society Teaches"!

  "in order to avoid misunderstandings, jehovahs witnesses try to be careful about how they express themselves.

  instead of saying, "the society teaches," many witnesses prefer to use such expressions as, "the bible says" or, "i understand the bible to teach.

  i was that one way to increase my field service time for me and my wife was by standing at a truck stop and hand out tapes to truckers in the early mornings.

  this is the same lot that is frequented by drug dealers and hookers.

  another time, while studying, i said i did not understand the blood issue.

  Watchtower's strange interpretation of Galatians 6:16 "..the Israel of God."

  the watchtower society repeatedly and consistently quotes this scripture to support their peculiar doctrine that the "israel of god" is a separate group of anointed christians with a 'heavenly hope' distinct from 99.9% of jw's who only have an 'earthly hope' and who are thus not included as a part of "the israel of god" paul refers to in galatians 6:16. the watchtower leaders are perpetuating a dispensationalist interpretation of gal 6:16 to the effect that the "israel of god" is the whole church, but taking it even further to only mean a small sub-set of their jw church: the so-called "little flock" who go to heaven.

  the rest of jw's are excluded.. i have only done some cursory research but, in contrast to the watchtower's unique and forced interpretation, it seems that most theologians view the "israel of god" as merely a reference to the part of the early church who were natural jews.

  i noticed that august 15 wt has a pic of john milton with the caption:.

  "john milton and isacc newton knew about the hope of everlasting life on earth".

  if you search "john milton freemason" you might be surprised to see that his name comes up very frequently in conjunction with this group.
