  Apparently I've out-ed an old friend THE SH**T HIT THE FAN!!

  about three or four years ago my former "best friend" who is an active jw started coming by my work to eat lunch with me and chat.. in the course of our conversations we had religious discussions.. i posted on the former jwd about these discussions.

  i never mentioned his last name, but, i did use his first name.. i honestly never expected anybody to read those posts because of the curse on apostate websites.

  but, that was a bit naive, i suppose.. here is what has happened.. .

  Camels werent domesticated during Abraham's time?

  one of the many factors that made me loose faith in the bible was the fact that camels were not domesticated during abrahams era.

  i read this on the book "the bible unearthead".

  do you know of any other evidence that shows camels were domesticated after 1000 bce.

  Straw man in last week's WT

  i couldn't help noticing the wt study article this weekend, which was about cultivating love that never fails.

  the correct spelling of it should have been cultivate, by the way.. the straw man of the love that the world shows was presented first--that people in the world know only romantic love, love of money, love of themselves, and love of pleasures.

  this was contrasted with the 'love' that jws show, which consists of obedience to god's commandments.

  they were too domesticated during abrahams time

  i saw a picture in the bible story book where they were plumping up abrahams pillow while he listened to Radio Ur

  and the other was washing the dishes.....obviously using pharaoh liquid

  "hoofs that do dishes feel as soft as your face with mild green pharaoh liquid"

  How did you feel when they let a 10 year old boy stand up on the podium and a sister couldn't ?

  one thing that really bothered me about the ministry school was letting a little boy around 10 years old read an outline and scripture.

  he faced and addressed the audience.

  he was actually teaching.

  our hall was so strict on the sisters standing on the platform

  we had a stretcher at the side of the hall for sisters to be be carted to their chairs

  if they put one foot down on the floor they got a public reproof......

  also......they had to cover the microphone with some gauze every time a sister wanted to answer as they didn't want to desecrate it with female

  spittle.....good idea.......only downside was the watchtower study was twice as long as usual.....(BUT WORTH IT was the general consensus)

  or....all the above may just be the ramblings of a madman
