i liked saturdays because i never went out in the field service that day, and there was no meeting that day also.
.
i kept the field service for the week days, when less people were at home.. .
My favorite day of the week back then was any Saturday that I was too sick to go out in Field Service.
Got to stay home and watch the morning cartoons like the "normal" kids did!!!
can you guys give me some examples of some of the flickers of light?
a jw threw the "the light gets brighter" thing at me and i want to ask what it means when they flip flop between yes and no on issues.
Let's see. How about their prediction that Armageddon would be here before the "generation of 1914" passed away. Then in a November 1995 issue of the Watchtower, they redefined what "generation" meant.
Or how about their 'end of the world' predictions: 1914, 1915, 1925, 1942, 1975.
how do we know that bethel and other congregations monitor this site?
is this confirmed.
and if so i am assuming all those monotoring must be doubtful as well.
They should be putting their time to better use by going out in Field Service, instead of hanging out with us Apostates!
"Bad associations spoil useful habits!!!"
so, you are starting to leave the cult.
you begin to meet new people and instead of viewing them all as 'bad association', you begin to view them as fellow humans.
what was your first impression of 'worldly people'?.
I was surprised to find out how kind, caring and friendly the "worldly" people were.
They weren't nearly as stuffy as alot of the witness folks were.
i have a friend who is 40. she has never been married.
been in the truth since before she was old enough to be married.. we were talking about a man brother in her life.
she says he just can't get his act together.. i tell her not to judge so quickly.
I think the hall is filled with a lot of horny frustrated people of both genders, there are probably plenty of people in the halls who are married and still feel like virgin
LOL... too true..
-Doodle-V
LMAO!!! I absolutely agree with that!!! And I'm sure too that a big reason for all that horniness is because after a witness couple gets married the society then tells a married couple what they CAN and CAN'T do in the bedroom!!!
what was the biggest "secret" that you kept from everyone when you were a witness?.
i thought would could have some fun with this topic on a friday afternoon.. back when i was an active witness i started "secretly" dating a "worldy" girl.
there was a shortage of single sisters at my hall.
Cooler King............couldn't and didn't...........which is it?
You want everyone deepest secret........and you are holding back aren't you?
Nope, no holding back here. Thought it was clear. (I never said didn't, I said couldn't ...) So to answer the question, "YES, we had sex!!!"
oh my, I hope the elders at my old hall arent reading this!!! (Not that it matters of course!!! )dubs just stopped by.
saw my husband working outside and literally chased him around the back of the house and pounded and called through the sliding glass door.
when we ignored it, he went around to the front and pounded and called through that door.
That's very sad. So much for "love thy neighbor."
Take care of that knee brunn!!!

Hay cooler king and the others that posted, when you guys say "dating worldly people".......do really mean have sex with them or just going to the movies and eating popcorn together?.....big difference.
Well as a baptised JW I couldnt have pre-marital sex!!! But being with a "worldly" girl had its advantages at the movies!!! anybody remember drive-ins???
I believed that Armageddon would be here before the "generation of 1914" passed away.
Oh wait, thats what they told me!!! Silly me!!!
