  Anyone else drinking (alone) tonight???

  i'm all alone tonight.

  so i thought i'd pour myself a nice drink and hang out here for awhile.

  i'm having a glass of scotch (dewar's) on the rocks!!!

  Son had Home Run!...but we lost 8-7...sadness as his career is over...

  well right now on statewide tv is video of my son hitting a home run in the playoffs against his old teammates.

  (he doesn't play for his local hs team, but goes to a private school 1/2 hour away.

  ) but in the end we came up just short 8-7.....he's had a great run in baseball.

  Which JW commandment did you break first ?

  i always tried to my best as a jw, to observe what the watchtower and bible told us "not to do".

  then i became inactive and lowered my guard, and didn't care as much.

  i think that my first jw sin, was playing lotto, then talking to disfellowshipped ones in my congregation, then posting on apostate forums, and then giving blood.

  I got a second shift job. *gasp*

  I had one of those "second shift" jobs too tnangel73. One of the elders even told me that I should consider quiting, because I was missing too many meetings. I asked him who was gonna pay my rent after I quit my job? He walked away and I'm still waiting for an answer!!!

  someone mentioned to me the other day about going door to door back when i was a jw.

  "weren't you scared to do something like that, knock on a stranger's door?

  I gotta agree with you on that one Honesty! I'm so glad those days are over!!!
