jesus christ, hey don't exercise as its demonic... its ok to be a fat bastard....
I don't find it surprising.
this years "follow the christ" dc looks like it is going to be focused on avoiding all those evil apostates and their falsehoods, judging by some of the dc talks listed on the back of the june 2007 awake!
do not follow false teachers .
do not follow false stories .
i was wondering if there are any current regular posters here that are still active , but are mentally inactive and don't believe all the bull anymore, and are just going through the motions to keep their life with friends and family together.. i realize this might be a posting that will probably get 0 replies, but.......
yep. As soon as I move out, I'll start my fade.
where to begin?
i hope this will serve as my introduction to this group.
(hope im in the right section.
Welcome! Madame Quixote, that name was the name of an actor.
april 14th of last year, i had to tell my mother that i was an apostate and had spent the last year working against the very organization that she had spent her life supporting.. april 14th of this year, i woke up next to my lovely girlfriend, went to the gym, came home, cooked a hearty brunch, then went to my little corner of the world- my piercing shop, where i got to talk to and interact with people who respected me for who i was and what i did.
i did manage to sneak a way a little early, and come home to once again wrap my arms around one of the coolest young women i've ever known.. they say the best revenge is living well.
and i say revenge "is sweet, but not fattening.".
happy birthday.
it's been a while since i've posted - been busy with family, work and school.
missed a lot of you - see a lot of new faces!
just had to get on tonight and let you old timers know that i finally did it - i graduated with my bs in computer science.
that's great! so, what do you do at work, specifically? and if you don't mind, how long did it take to get your degree?
well, as per usual, the memorial talk bored the hell out of me, but i found it, in one way to be an improvement over last years when they had the most boring speaker on the planet there http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/111544/1.ashx this guy at least knew how to speak.
unfortunately, he didn't have much of a script to work with.. there was the mention of adam sinning and mankind needing a redeemer etc., no mention of when the israelites left egypt though.
that's probably the first year i've ever seen where this hasn't been mentioned.
Thanks for your observation, Mary. I'm going soon. =(
they are pharisees.
