  Dave Mustaine of Megadeth was raised as a JW.

  megadeth is a heavy metal band fronted by dave mustaine, who was raised as a jehovah's witness.

  mustaine was the original lead guitar player for metallica,in the early 80's, before they kicked him out for drunk behavior.

  i have been a fan of megadeth for years, but recently found out he was raised as a jw.

  Is this story a JW Myth.....

  a co once told this story at a circuit assembly.

  i never quite believed it, and now knowing how many false rumors spread in the jws it would be no suprise to me if this is fake.

  the story goes that a non-jw husband didn't want his wife to joining the jws.

  What Lies or False Statements Has The Watchtower Society Been Guilty Of?

  for an organization that claims to be the heralder of the "truth", it seems they have a history of mistakes.

  they assert that one must believe their "faithful slave" but who is that "slave"?

  is it charles taze russell or all the anointed ones living on earth at a given time?

  Laptop Users I need your help

  i'm going to buy my first laptop in the next week or two.i want to know what else i'll end up needing to go online with it at a wifi hotspot?there are a few of them around where i live at coffee shops and things like that.do i need a wireless service provider when i'm at these hot spots??.

  also what would you recomend i get for use at home?i have a dsl modem that will allow me to have 4 computers pluged into one modem.i want to be able to use my laptop anywhere in my house.what do i need to reach these goals with a laptop??.

  i've heard of wireless cards and wireless routers.but i don't know what they do or if i need them.i've never used a laptop before i have only ever used a desktop..

  This dub I know told me that a CO gave a talk at a convention; he says that a man would make deals with Satan to get him whatever: money, girls, etc.

  One day he sees a girl and Satan says he can't get her for him. He asks why not, and Satan says "Because she serves a God that's more powerful than I am."

  He goes over and finds out she is a dub. He starts studying, blah blah blah, they get married.

  CO says, "How do I know this? I was that man."

  noni: yes, no (it's most likely that your laptop will already have one), from a place like staples or somewhere like that.

  Firewall, and make sure you password protect your wireless router.

  If your laptop doesn't come with a wireless card, you'll need to buy one.
