  hi, my name is alison and i am having a very hard time to accept what is going on in my life.

  hopefully anyone that can help me can certainly will receive much more from jehovah.. also i find by writing about my story can help other individuals going through the same thing can help make them to make wise decisions in life.... i am 21 years old and my ex boyfriend is 25 years old .

  we were going out for one year and three months which is unfortunate it could not last longer.

  SCI FI fans - looking for a story I read 35 yrs ago

  i read this in a collection i got from the school library.. a man wakes up from cryogenic sleep, to see a painted bust.

  he is restrained.. turns out he is the last human, and the robots have attempted to keep him alive by painting a statue so he is not shocked by their appearance.. the lead robot becomes known as "sister.

  " the man explains puns, and extends its programming for original thnking.

  Well, they had more time to cover it. I haven't seen the movie or the mini-series, but with all that's going on in the book (I'm not even halfway through it yet), I think a mini-series is the only way it would've worked.

  All I know about the Dune movie is that Sting is in it.

  I saw the Feyd/Paul battle from the miniseries on youtube; seemed kinda lame, as if it was a duel just for show, and not to the death.

  You're referring to the David Lynch movie, right?

  Sci-Fi channel did a Dune mini-series, and a sequel to it, combining Children of Dune and the book after it.

  I've heard they're good, but don't quote me on that.
