well folks, ever since the end of 1999, when the issue of child abuse among jws was raised, things seemed to have moved slowly ... at least too slowly for those who need and want to see justice done for the vctims.

in 2000, bill bowen, who was teaming up with those of us already working on the topic, finally emerged in public to start silentlambs, and brought in nbc dateline, etc.

What kind of Ex-dub are you?

How do you view the Bible?

i think that the bible gives hope and comfort.

i also think that the bible is a good book without me saying too much.

but is it a product of god?

For me the bible reveals what happens when people become small minded, narrow and exclusive in the name of god.

At the same time it reveals how to become free and grow spiritually when taken in comjunction with the world and thinking around us imho.

i just could not believe it when i stumbled across this forum recently.

i was actually doing research for my dad who wanted to see the world's viewpoint of the failed 1975 prophecy.

he came into the truth less than three years ago and though my mom has been a witness since she was a teenager she never spoke of that particular time period to him.
