Who are they now? Are there names listed anywhere?
Also, can we get Micheal Moore to do a documentary about the GB?
does anyone know if they have to go out in service like the other jw's?
also, are the lawyers for the society jw's?

.this "new world scene " is from p 190 of the "bible teach " book dated 2005.. it is just a joke.
they have transformed their key belief into a cartoon type kiddies scene.
is there no thought of child safety?
I believe the "new light" in 2007 will have something to do with the announcement that the WTS printing facilities will be turned into a beach ball factory in the new sytem of things.
"Brothers what a joy that will be...."

out of curiousity, is there anyone on here that is in indianpolis, indiana, or the state of indiana for that matter?.
also was wondering if there are any exdubs who went to any indianapolis congregations in the 80's and 90's?.
My memory isn't the best. I went to irvington (where my dad and don needham were elders) from 0 yrs-6or7 yrs old. That would have been around 1975-1981/82, then we moved to Greenfield. So, I just remember the Kleines/Needhams from irvington. Other names have escaped me, but I remember faces, so the Mcatees don't ring a bell, but Carl's name sounds familiar. Yeah, the Sparks sound really familiar although i cant remember there faces off hand. I remember the Deerbergs and the Eatons went to Raymond Park.
My dad is Steve Jackson, him and I left in the early 90's.
My mom's name is Barb, now Barb Bade.

wow, yeah, i lived in the irvington area for about seven years and just moved downtown a couple years ago.
Was the KH, on I think it was like 21st and shadeland, called the irvington congregation? I went there first and then my family moved further east and we had to go to the Greenfield cong,...then Raymond Park.
i remember prominent JWs around that area, the Klines(not sure of spelling), don and jan needham, these folks were good friends of my parents.
a few financial figures that happen to have fallen into my sweaty palms.
while only a small piece of the wt's financial jigsaw puzzle, they effectively illustrate the level of $ under the society's control.
watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania.
It makes you wonder what the GB's annual income is and how they live.

which child is wiser?
while starting a hunt for easter eggs one child runs to a big tree and finds nothing then that childs brother says, go look under that rock i promise youll find one there!
the child throws down their basket and says, i give up!
Wow Gordy, u really got yourself into the the thick of things here. I think your statement or curiousities are valid, I just think they could have been stated in a more thoughtful way. I'm going to have to give u a "w".
I think everyone has faith.
Some put faith in the concept that god doesn't exist.
Some put faith in science.
Some put faith in God.
Some put faith in the God of JWs, or in the God of Mormonism, or in the God of Catholicism, or in the God of Protestantism.
So naturally, after coming out of a cult where all we talked about was "godly things" or "spiritual matters" and the bible, ...on here, we are bound to debate such matters. Yet, for me, i don't think one can prove belief for someone else. That's why it's faith. A christian can't necessarily prove 100% that god exists, and, likewise, an atheist can't prove %100 that god doesn't exist.
I think atheists have questions that naturally arise in their minds about believers of God and the bible. Like, "How is this possible...., or How could God be this way, and then be this way....? or whatever.
And, ...likewise, believers in God naturally have curiousities about the minds of atheistic believers,...i know i do.
So keep the questions/comments coming on both sides,....just, can't we be a little more thoughtful towards each other?
i went to an apostafest over 10 years ago or so and different exdubs got up and told their story of leaving the wts.
one guy in particular, who became christian, and who was disfellowshipped, told his story about how he went to the memorial and decided to partake in eating of the bread and wine.
most christians believe the bread and wine is meant for believers and is a commandment to be done in remembrance of christ's death.
Wow. If i try to picture myself in a dead silent...cold congregation, I don't know that I would have the kahunas to do that. I mean, I wouldn't deny Christ, but to bring myself there in the first place. That sounds so intense. I think back to how solemn and quiet the ceremony was, it makes me nervous just thinking about it.
So narkissos, what was your mindset back then? Why did u parttake?
we often heard this term being constantly shoved down our throats at the meetings at the kingdom hall.....but as i become older, (and hopefully wiser) i cannot for the life of me see where learning how to place/sell wts literature each week, can be classified as pure worship!.
for example: i attended a little church up the road from here last sunday night.
they were having their first-ever "worship night" that a couple of teen-aged girls had the idea to hold and arranged the whole event.
I don't think anyone can rightly deem what happens during Jdub meetings,..."worship".
I think the question, as far as Jdubs are concerned, should be,.... What is pure paying attention?
