  IYO, what r the most problematic scripture(s) for dubs?...or lack there of

  hey everyone,...in your opinion, (1) what scripture or passages in the bible completely go against jdub doctrine?

  scriptures that the dubs really can't answer or really can't fit into their equation,...thus, they go unnoticed or avoided.

  (2) or,...what scriptural proof should be in the bible to back their doctrinal claims.

  2 Thessalonians 2 vs. JW's

  in jw land,...how do they deal with the below verses?.

  if christ (according to jw's, not me) returned invisibly in 1914,...then who do they say the "man of lawlessness is who proclaims to be god"?

  ....because the verses say that christ's return will not happen until this "man of lawlessness" is revealed and will perform deceptive signs and miracles.

  "All of Israel will be saved" vs JW salvation

  it seems as if the jw religion in general has much contempt for israel.

  correctly me if i'm wrong, but,...in short, the jw religion thinks they have become israel,...."spiritual israel", anyways.

  or, in other words, the blessings and promises for israel have been transfered to the wts and it's faithful members.. which brings up an interesting question.

  like,...moses,...he wasn't jewish,...right?

  nature of jesus christ.

  the way teaches that jesus christ had no existence before birth except in the mind of god.

  Why does the great crowd go to memorial?

  "do this in remembrance of me"...... ...those words jesus utters,..according to the wt,...is specifically for "the annointed",...right?.

  if jesus at the last supper is speaking directly to "the annointed class",...that they should parttake and "do this in remembrance",...then why do the r & f even go to the memorial?.

  looking at it through jw eyes,...jesus didn't invite members of "great crowd" to the last supper,...right?

  JW's and the internet

  growing up as a jw in the 70's and 80's we didn't have the influence of the internet.

  i, of course, believed i was in "the truth" and never heard anything (from the outside) that negative about our jw religion.

  of course, now and again, we had some angry people at the door, but other than that i can't recall very many outside negative criticisms.
