Alright, some advice to me is to plant the seeds of doubt.
Like the bible scripture, I will plant the seeds, and curiosity (not god) will make it grow. Or something similar.
But I don't know what to do. I've tried it, but none of my comments seem to make people think. It's a lot of "Gee wiz, them meetins' are so boring."
Since many of you may have gone through this, what is your advice for 'planting the seeds of doubt'?

Youths leaving...
by Anony-Mouse inalright, i have a few questions about the 'young ones'.
i've heard that the rate at which younger kids are leaving has increased.
is this true?

I'm not sure if they're "true freinds", willing to go all out for me.
I certainly would for them, which is why I want them to know what I know so bad.
I think the advice "be yourself" is the best I can follow.
And I can tell you why I'm so worked up about all this. I didn't have any good freinds for many years. I was homeschooled, and our congregation was lacking people my age. But now we're in a new congregation, with lots of people my age. I decided I was going to make freinds, so I did.
For the first time in many years, I have FRIENDS. I can forget about how terrible it is to be alone.
Ultimately, it IS all thier choice. I can only lay out the facts.
It's just hard for me to do that, because I want them all OUT. I can't help but invision that they're on thier death bed, the watchtower recently disbanded, wishing their WHOLE LIVES weren't wasted...And that maybe, if I had just tried harder...
Anyways, "Mind off the future, Mind on the present!" I can't help but look ahead, it's a major fault of mine.
Right now, I have something worth living for. -

I've heard that the rate at which younger kids are leaving has increased. Is this true? And why is this happening?
I myself am considered young (I'm old on the inside). I've recently made a lot of freinds. Good freinds, that I care a lot about.
Since I'm turning 18 in a year, I'm worried about them. And worried about possibly leaving them. What should I do? I don't know if I should leave them be, and run off. Or if I should convince them to leave with me, or what.
For instance, one of my freinds is kind of like I was a few years ago. I believed it, but I had doubts. She believes it more than I did, but she's a bit more 'radical' than I was. Her choice in clothes and music, while normal, are not exactly up to "JW standard". And she lacks the science craving personality I have.
The big problem I have with her is this: What if I do convince her to leave? Her entire family is in it. They might hate her. She's really close to her family, I don't want her to suffer with that. Do I even want to try to convince her?
That, and I don't even know where to get freinds outside of school and KH. I've discovered that I'm apparently a nice person, and everybody loves my personality, but I lack the outside experience. I've been homeschooled for just about my whole life. -

SCAN OF WT ARTICLE ON WIVES.....
by Mary insome of you asked for a scan of the february 15, 2007 wt study on wives being in subjection.
i forgot to mention, the one paragraph stresses that not only are you a second class citizen in the marriage, but women are also to "obey" the numbnuts in the congregation, even if you've got a higher iq:.

Everytime I read this stuff, I get sick.
It makes me happy that, even though I was raised in this garbage, my own moral code came from me, not some outdated controlling view. Women are more important than men from a statistical viewpoint. They can HAVE CHILDREN. That contribution alone is more than a herd of men can make. Men have a very small part in the whole process.
Hurray for women :D ! -

Well, if it's true (I somewhat hope it is. Death isn't quite what I want in the future), that'd be cool.
But that just means I need to learn to kick my spirit guides in the butts. Because they all SUCK....
BADLY. -

What's Your Attitude Toward Men & Women----Stereotypical???
by minimus inare all men and women the same?
do you regard members of the opposite sex "typical"?
-
Anony-Mouse
Everybody IS equal. The end. Period.
But there are differences, obviously.
But stereotypes? Not here. Every girl is different.
And me? No way. -

www.nuklearpower.com - 8-Bit Theater, parody of Final Fantasy 1 webcomic
www.giantitp.com - (not a porn site :P ) Giant in the playground is the site name, Order of the Stick is the comic, parody of Dungeons and Dragons
www.fortunasaga.com - VERY good sprite comic. It actually has a dramatic storyline, interesting concepts (Darkness, completely unbiased, is good, and light,a combination of all colors, is evil) -

who besides me turned a friend into the elders for something trivial?
by PaNiCAtTaCk ini told on a girl for liking a worldy boy at school.
me and another brother actually waited down the street from the boys house to see if she went there after school, just to get some proof for the eders.
i cant believe i did that:( did anyone else spy on another witness like i did?

Turned in a kid from my school because he was wearing a cross.
I was so proud of myself....
Kinda funny, his freinds almost 'roughed me up' afterwords. Thankfully I've been tough looking the past few years, so they didn't lay a hand on me...I probably would have thought it was 'persecution'. -
