  the latest august 15th watchtower study edition features an interesting review of the society's annual meeting.. one comment struck me as evidence that the governing body isn't quite as "discreet" as it claims.. here is what the article said:.

  "there are plans to develop a 248-acre (100 ha) property at warwick.

  'although we are not yet certain of jehovahs will regarding warwick,' said brother pierce, 'we are proceeding to develop the site with the intention of relocating the world headquarters of jehovahs witnesses there.

  That statements tells me two things.

  1.They are short on money.

  2.The 2008 stock market caught them off guard and they had to put on hold the selling off of dumbo.

  maybe 3.the wills and estates dropped off due to the down turn in the economy.

  many say,no other book in all history compares with it.. widely owned book,one least read.people don't understand it.. it's wisdom unmatched,guide for all,brings peace,joy etc and a gift from god.. yet you read kings and chronicles and you see evil rulers like hiltler,stalin.. read ruth..purchase a wife and land on the witnesses of removing a sandal.. where do you get away with, a jew(god's people) marrying a gentile.. try reading your kids a bedtime story from revelation.. the r.c almost had it right when they burnt the bible,they didn't go far enough..

  Like I said on the outset,many view the bible as a great book for how to live.I don't see it that way at all.It may be a history book.

  When someone tells me to read it every day because it is beneficial,I don't agree anymore then reading about Hilter everyday is beneficial.

  Try reading all those names times and times and a half time is just stupid and a waste of you guess it times and t.

  Just read the shit for yourself and you will agree it is ( ).

  This past week wt is a good lesson for those in a divided household.

  Q2 Depends on how a jw accepts your pov you can add to your happiness by showing them your love.kindness,etc.

  Q4 By sharing your knowledge of how corrupt.evil.lies.the wtbs is you will be richly blessed.

  Q9 Many on JWN "wanted to tell everyone" the JWFACTS,share internet sites,you-tube,UN,etc.However a few well placed facts of truth about this corrupt org.gb/fds will often do more good than the whole nine yards.

  Finally replace the names they use with JWN family and use this same tactics on your wife/husbands/children.

  did anyone try to denounce abusing one's spouse under any circumstances, or were most answers supportive of the "advice" given to selma, i.e.

  Many on this forum know how stupid the wt is.However,those in it will say how great the fds is and what insight they have wrt to divided household.They will use this info and try and help brainwash their husband,wife,children into this sect.

  I think HOWARD,had it right.the jw brainwash you slowly like a slow rain,one drop at a time,using their literature before you know it you are in deep water(baptism) and it is to late because now they got you.If you try and back out it is shunning time,So most stay in to keep family in tact.

  We all know they lie to you on their 1st call.WHen a study is started,what is the 1st think they say "you will get opposite from family members".They never never mention that you will be DF if you say anything against the fds on the 1st study and YOU WILL BE SHUN BY HUSBAND,WIFE ,CHILDREN and your children will not talk to you after you are a jw.

  I am sorry to hear you had such a rough time in this so called religion.

  I appreciation how you use their publication to show how shallow this corp. is.They sure have a short memory.

  Also how you point out"christians=jw" how ironic da judge wanted to differentiate ibs from jw and now they want to be asscoiated with or be the same as christians.

  my crazy brainwashed parents have devoted their lives to this cult, to the detriment of their children.

  i recently told my mum that i needed to stop anything jw because of the anxiety and depression it has caused me for over 30 years.

  she said 'oh well if thats what you have to do... but you know armaggedon is just around the corner and jehovah expects us to toe the line... faith without works is dead.'.

  Q14/15.Become aware...report wrongdoing.

  So the one that reports is she/he without sin?In what way are elders going to help...breakup the family.Why not offer REAL help.Idon't think they are qualified,because they are sinners.Did not Jesus die for our sins and don't give me that BS elders will help.OH maybe with the boot to the ASS.

  This tactit is done by dictators,such as A.H.,R.K.,N.K.,POLPOT,KGB,etc.
