we just received a new directive now we are re-assigned as regular pioneers.we accept.. we are now enjoying abundant blessing.we are grateful and contented,brimming with joy in our old old age.we are so close,very close to the end of our journey(lives).soon no more pain or sorrow.peace at last awaiting to be raised from the dead..

It's a loving provision from Jehovah.The blessing it brings can be seen in the experiences of these brothers in the WT mags.Also the free education they receive at bethel is second to none.Such as:law,nursing,computer programmers,IT,web design,internet.tv b'casting,construction(electrician.plumbering,painters),custodian,the list goes on and on.They can hit the jobs running after they leave bethel.Iam jealous hehehehe. -

Talkin' bout my generation
by FusionTheism ininstead of this latest video by governing body member david splane, attempting to explain the current view of what jesus meant about "this generation" in matthew 24:34, the governing body should, if they were truly wanting to put "truth" first, have simply said "this is one idea we have, but it may be wrong, and in all honesty, we aren't sure what jesus meant here.".
then, they could have gone on to give the different valid options for interpreting this passage.. instead they doubled-down on a confusing doctrine that can't really be supported by scripture.. there was no overlapping generation of 100+ years in the original 1st century fulfillment of jesus' words, so why would there be a 175-year overlapping generation in the antitypical modern fulfillment?.
while we are on the topic, why are they even still saying that matthew 24:34 has a typical and antitypical fulfillment, since they said we shouldn't interpret things now as types and antitypes unless the bible explicitly says so?.

Per insight their book they say"Problems in Matthew's genealogy of Jesus.There are 41 generations from Abraham to Jesus rather than 42" They use words like"may,may have,evidently,possibly".I think they have a problem.

i knew when it came time to read the afternoon expenses that it would be an incredibly high and ridiculous amount that was nowhere near the real expenses for that day.
sure enough, after lunch came the announcement.

What could you do with 10 grand.Rent 100 rooms at Motel 6 and get 4 complimentary rooms plus all the amenities.Now 100 rooms @ 250sqft per rooms equals 25000 sqft.Shit you could fill them with 1000 stupid members and still have a lot of room left over.
