Mid - Week Meeting This Week

i took an elderly friend to the meeting last night.

the study is in the "imitate their faith" book which is merely a compilation of previous short stories about bible characters that were featured in a series of watchtower articles.. they waste no time beginning their spinning and supposition with the cain/abel story.

Par 10-12 Adam likely trained them in work that was necessary to provide for the family.Cain tookup farming.Abel took up shepherding.By the comments on this book and the bible,jw are dumber than a box of rocks.The publishers dumber than owl shit.

How did sheep provide food for Abel when god did not allow man to eat meat until after the flood.(maybe he ate sheep shit) see gen ch 9.Why blame Cain for his offering when god cursed the ground with thorns and thistle.(no roundup)God didn't curse the animals so Abel had a fat sheep for the sob.

People are controlled and manipulated by a leader or small group of people.

-Hilter and a small group discussed in detail of a plan to exterminate the jews.

_The Armenian genocide was planned by members of an elite potitical core(Enver Pasha).

-The seven men in N.Y. control 8 million members.

Notice it is a small group that,contorls,plans,organizes,persuades,uses propaganda that their members must completely obey their leaders and carry out their orders without question.Such as refusing blood causing death,familty breakup and suicide by shunning.That org is no different.

we just received a new directive now we are re-assigned as regular pioneers.we accept.. we are now enjoying abundant blessing.we are grateful and contented,brimming with joy in our old old age.we are so close,very close to the end of our journey(lives).soon no more pain or sorrow.peace at last awaiting to be raised from the dead..

SING NO SAD SONGS FOR EX-BETHELITES

what happens to ex-bethelites is really of no concern to the gb.

and equally no concern to us as ex-jws or those who question jw organization.. layoffs have happened at headquarters and elsewhere for many, many years - although the scale this time is larger than previously, being an all time high: 1,600. .

for the record, we should spare any sympathy/empathy for those who are about to sent packing this time.

It's a loving provision from Jehovah.The blessing it brings can be seen in the experiences of these brothers in the WT mags.Also the free education they receive at bethel is second to none.Such as:law,nursing,computer programmers,IT,web design,internet.tv b'casting,construction(electrician.plumbering,painters),custodian,the list goes on and on.They can hit the jobs running after they leave bethel.Iam jealous hehehehe.

hello all, i would like to first say that i am basically questioning my faith in god.

i am not negative towards the wt at all.

so honestly i am to concerned with more ad hominem attacks towards the wt because i still love the organization and the people in it.

instead of this latest video by governing body member david splane, attempting to explain the current view of what jesus meant about "this generation" in matthew 24:34, the governing body should, if they were truly wanting to put "truth" first, have simply said "this is one idea we have, but it may be wrong, and in all honesty, we aren't sure what jesus meant here.".

then, they could have gone on to give the different valid options for interpreting this passage.. instead they doubled-down on a confusing doctrine that can't really be supported by scripture.. there was no overlapping generation of 100+ years in the original 1st century fulfillment of jesus' words, so why would there be a 175-year overlapping generation in the antitypical modern fulfillment?.

while we are on the topic, why are they even still saying that matthew 24:34 has a typical and antitypical fulfillment, since they said we shouldn't interpret things now as types and antitypes unless the bible explicitly says so?.

Per insight their book they say"Problems in Matthew's genealogy of Jesus.There are 41 generations from Abraham to Jesus rather than 42" They use words like"may,may have,evidently,possibly".I think they have a problem.
