  Why Faith is Self-Defeating

  the god of christian theism values faith.. "without faith it is impossible to please god, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists" - heb.11.

  faith and evidence are inversely proportional - the more evidence there is that god exists the less faith you need in that proposition and vice-versa.. so how can a christian criticise any other faith-based belief?

  for example they can protest that all the evidence is against the claims of scientology, but that just means that scientologists require more faith than christians.

  was a man made date when jesus came and that a generation is not 102 plus years.. why not say something like this.when the disciples asked jesus for a sign and the end of the age.jesus gave them a composite sign and said all these things will take place.when-before the people now living(at the end of the age which no one knows)have all died..

  As for the end of the age Jesus said people living at that time would see the

  composite sign.What the WT thinks are terrible conditions today.However,I

  this was how it was described to me yesterday by a brother who has been there for some 40 years.

  "everyone is about gone; the governing body is set to leave within 2 months; the kitchen and laundry personnel are gone and i have to fend for myself now.".

  "also the aggravation of 4 to 5 business men in suits with clipboards daily checking out the watchtower properties.

  I feel sorry for him just about as sorry for my shit when I take a big dump.Because all you hear is how great and loving the GB are.How the elders are loving and caring.How great the org is.We must obey the GB,ELDERS,ETC.

  Those in bethel say how great it is and how they would have it no other way.Well they got the other way now it is up to them and have the balls and call a spade a spade as it were.Talk to a DFP and see how they care for a human being.
