I understand the question as "time gone between any post" not only time between posts in a specific topic.
If you study the "active topics" pages, the most resent posts often are within minutes.
But to find the longest intermission, and be certain that it is not caused by downtime on the server...
I don't know.

Maybe we should start using them again for the time we spend on ApostaSites...?
Haha! I'd be a Pioneer!
And I, for the first time in my life, will have plenty of "return visits" :-D
But did any of you fill in the details, all dates and the hours and deliveries on very date and stuff before turning it in, or just the totals?
I only filled in the totals.

I'm an elder's daughter. He was appointed as an elder when I was only a few years old (before I can remember).
We lived in a small town, and the cong had during my childhood betweed 18-40 publishers. They were not many elders, so my father had a lot to do, and was also a PO for many years.
But I think he tried to find a balance, but sometimes I remember that he was very busy with cong stuff and had less time for family.
The worst part for me was that my parents are very respected among the other JWs in the area (my father as a respected elder, and my mother for beeing a pioneer for many years, even special pioner before she met my dad), and almost everybody know who they are, so I really felt the preasure from everyone to be like them. But I could never be a pioneer.
It was this preasure that eventually drove me away from the Tooth :-)

Cold Weather Dress Code for Witnesses
by WTWizard inwith the advent of cooler weather (at least in canada and the northern us), one might think of how the witnesses are going to cope.
for certain, dress codes are going to have different effects now than they did when it was broiling hot.. men are going to be more comfortable now.
cooler weather means that the coat is not going to create as much heat stroke risk as it did in the heat of mid summer.

Here on the Norwegian coast, the weather can be really rough, even in summer (usually not as cold as in winter, but it's not very comfortable wearing skirts and fine shoes in cold rain and wind either).
I remember one summer, we were together on a vacant district (don't know if this is the correct term in English) to an area at the northern coast of Norway. One of the brothers had a fishing boat, and we were about 6 brothers and sisters jumping on board to visit some of the smaller islands. The plan was to go there by boat, leave a group on one end, go to the other end of the island and work towards the first group. (It was a really great trip, if you forget about the field service part.)
We were all well dressed, most of the sisters wore skirts (I can't remember if I did - I hated, and still hate, skirts). And we all had pretty fine shoes.
You should have seen how the locals looked at us crazy people. Not at all dressed based on the weather. One sister and I even got a lift on the back of a truck because the (not interested) man felt pity for us.
That day we learned that, in weather and temperatures like this (as it often is, as least in the west and nothern parts of Norway), wearing "fine clothes" is not likely to give a "positive impression". Rather the opposite. The most important thing was that your clothes were clean and not worn out.

I read a letter on the noticeboard . It said that congs would initially receive a similar number to the Kingdom Ministry but they could increase it . Also although the study editions were not to be offered to the public, interested ones could have one on request.
It will be interesting to see how the content differs though.....I'm more curious about how different the many congs around the world will interpret this "rule" about who can cet a copy of the studytower and who can't...
And will my parents still offer all the mags to my husband. Maybe they think he's not interested enough because he tend to ask these difficult questions?

Spouses of JW's who attend meetings but never get baptized
by Bonnie_Clyde ini know one who has attended meetings for 42 years, he knows it's a bunch of crap, but he loves his wife and doesn't want to mess up their relationship.
he is actually quite wealthy--maybe that makes a difference.
he doesn't have to worry about how to pay the bills.

It's just another unfufilled prophesy from the watchtower
No, no! It's just some of the imperfect men that are acting hasty and a bit too enthusiastic. You just need to wait for Jehovah... but it will sure be soon! kifoy
