  Did You Feel Bad For the JW Dishwasher-Cook Who Quit His Job (May JW Broadcasting)To Avoid Attending Later Meetings?  He Pioneered on Welfare or Unemployment!

  did you watch the story about the jw who was working as a burger boy at some diner and his boss wanted him to work on sunday during the time of his meeting?

  this faithful jw decided he could not attend a later meeting (6 pm sunday meeting) and soon quit his job(or got fired to attend his sunday meeting) so he could attend the sunday meeting he was assigned to.

  i think he was on welfare because this story states he won't work on sunday morning because that's when his meeting is!

  Just remembered a conversation I had with my father.

  when i started my fade i called my father to talk to him about some stuff that was bothering me.

  i got absolutely nowhere.

  he read matthew 24:45-47. i finally asked him that if the governing body asked him to jump off of a bridge would he do it.

  My brother and I were both raised in the org. I faded about 25 years ago and it was easy. At the time my first wife and I moved to the other side of our large city and the elders at the new hall barely new us, so they didn't miss us much when we stopped service and meeting attendance. We received a couple elder visits but we would just never answer the door. Then we moved to yet another part of the city, divorced and we were both successfully off the radar. However, my brother got so fed up with everything that he disassociated himself. My parents have not spoken to him in over 5 years and it kills him and my mother mostly. My dad just keeps with the same GB worship and forbids my mom from speaking to my brother. They still speak to me and the fact that I live in another state makes my life as easy as it could be in that regard. I know that if my dad were to pass first, that my mother would reinstate her relationship with my brother. My dad would give his life if the GB asked him to do so. My brother and I joke that if dad would have been an extreme Muslim, we would both be dead already! Anyway damn the GB and their lies!

  Convention Cartoon

  so last night they played the convention cartoon.

  there were a few laughs from the audience, overall though people seemed a little taken aback and tight lipped.

  like no one gushed about it afterwards, no applause, just like it was nothing new at all.

  I once served on the planning board for our state’s Professional Photographers state convention. During one of our planning meetings it was brought up that only JW’s spent less money than photographers at conventions! Fortunate I knew I was the exception to both cases.

  Oh and hint hint! If you plan on going on vacation, obtain the hotel list for the area where you want to go and go as a Witness to get those awesome rates!

  Been out for over 20 years and I told my wife about how you had to disclose every detail when talking to the elders and this included some of the hot sisters who had been involved in immorality. I told her the elders probably really enjoyed those meetings! She made a great argument that since the elders were so horned up their wives probably benefited greatly after some of those meetings, too!!

  So back to the point, My father was and still is the strictest of elders and our family never heard a peep about anything. However, another elder in the BOE told his wife everything and his son who was friends with me and my brother, once overheard that one of the brothers came before the committee for bestiality! We joked that after this meeting the elder probably came home and made his wife give it to him doggy-style and bark like a dog!!

  No more eating children with the rod??

  so a friend of mine who is still in and knows i am disassociated sent me an email saying the following, "hey, did you see the new article about disciplining your children?????

  there is not one single outright mention of beating your kids anymore.

  my after meeting ritual, is getting my suit off, and a beer in my hand....in less than 2 minutes from entering my door.

  As a teenager, after Friday night meeting we would usually go to eat fast food somewhere all dressed in our JC Penny suits. Then I would go stay the night at my buddies house We would sneak out to go buy beer and either buy Playboy or Penthouse whichever was available at the local 7-11. We would drink and oogle the pictures until late into the night and then get up early still buzzing to go do street work in downtown Las Vegas! We probable stunk like booze the same as many of the homeless down there. We went primarily to get our time in early and check out the hotties from other congregations.

  On Sunday, we would buy fast food with the family and take it home to eat and watch TV. Then off to bed to wax the old weasel and off to sleep to top off my spiritually filled weekend!

  in the city of hefei, in anhui province, china, there is a park planted with 20,000 cherry trees (of 40 different varieties.

  (cherry blossoms are culturally significant in east asia and popular).

  its not quite blossom time yet, but to get an early start to spring these beautiful girls and some artists introduced another form of cherry blossom displays.
