  The real story: Is your congregation stagnant, dwindling or thriving?

  with the 2007 service year stats out one could be forgiven for thinking that wt's problems are over, the child abuse settlement an itch in their bethel backside and the blood issue a minor annoyance.. if the truth were known, it is probably that more often than not, congregations are in decline, attendance is poor and few new recruits are not already jw family members.. so, if you know how your congregation is doing, if you have the pulse of your hall, let us know.. .

  my congregation (which shall remain nameless).

  My congregation - the JWD ApostaCongregation couldn't be doing better!

  Numbers are up every day, attendance is excellent, and the majority of our publishers put in 'pioneer hours'. There's no problem with commenting, and everyone prepares for the meetings as well. New ones are warmly welcomed.

  It is a total non-sequitor to say "because homosexuals do it, it is wrong"

  Homosexuals live, eat, and breathe .... is that wrong too? How about holding a job, brushing and flossing, and the combing of hair ... they do that too right? Maybe the GB should advise against those things as well.

  hello dear friends.... well..the saga continues!!

  as many of you know last new years the jws attacked our "frosty" and egged our home.

  " the co said, "so you are both not willing to meet with the elders..?".

  our house is decked out as much as we could! We have already blown the circut breaker once..and had to readjust our lights. We were able to then add a "Merry Christmas" sign, holographic candy canes, snowflakes, giftboxes, 2 deer, a "Santa stops here sign", and of course, "frosty". The whole house has red and green C9 bulbs, with clear mini iclicle lights below. Every window and door has been outlined in lights.

  In response to the CO's "Are you celebrating Christmas", my reply would've been "Oh no, my brother, this is our simple celebration of 'new light'.

  don't take this wrong i appreciate kind words or good advice from anyone.

  got lot's of nice pm's recently from some concerned ones here this week....but i got two from a jw lady, that i had explained i had some lingering issues with being taught me and my parents would never get old and die....among other things....she said:.

  i don't recall ever being told i would never die.
