you see, she turned 30 this years and her "area" is itching to be, well, you know.
Why is it that it is so hard for them? Is it that they just want the young girls? 20-25?
Well, just think about it. Baptismal candidates are getting younger, and younger, each year. Most of them are children of witnesses anyway. There are hardly any male converts as such, who may be in her age group.
That's the way it has been since I can remember ... more sisters than brothers.
during my search of links etc to other jw discussion sites both pro and anti i keep seeing people say that jwd is the mother of all apostate sites

Sadly, the girl is quite a catch and would love for her to find someone special one day.
It's such a shame that she isn't viewed as a "catch" in the congregation.
After I had faded, I ventured into the unknown of dating worldly men. It was only then I myself realized how much of a catch I was.
If your friend is longing for sex, companionship and a family of her own, exclusively in the witness context ... she should be prepared to wait for a very long time. It's slim pickings for sisters in the Borg, unless you want to end up with the dregs of humanity.

The Reasoning book has many pages full of "smooth words" that really don't answer the question(s) posed.
That is so very true. There's no way Stilla will be able to get through this talk without some nonsensical circular reasoning.

after the initial shock from reading simon's announcement wore off, i re-read it again for the first time.. here is something that really stood out:.
the ex-jw community has certainly changed over the years.. people have and always will have disagreements but in the past there was a certain level of mutual respect, even if you vehemently disagreed with someone, and a line that people would not cross.
now it seems that the slightest disagreement is taken to extremes and escalated beyond all proportion with a level of vitriol seen in very few online communities.
No, they don't ever go out of style.
Good manners, graciousness, tact, dignity and respect will always be a pleasure to encounter. Just because we've left the JWs, doesn't mean we should leave our decency behind at the KH.
What I find sad is that some posters are continually rude and insulting. Then again, they are seen as witty and so funny.
Perhaps it is only me...
