Was there a recent post about jw kids not mixing with worldly ones?
by dobbie inor did i imagine it?i'm sure i saw this recently, that in one of the upcoming mags they were saying about after school activites and only associating with 'worldly' kids in school and not outside, but i can't find it anywhere!does anybody remember this only i wanted to mention it on another website where someone's asking re jws and having friends and i wanted to 'enlighten' them!

Unfortunately no. I was never in the habit of associating with members of the JW clergy. But I did know of some elders who suddenly DA'd and often wondered why ... maybe the doubts got to them?

of course you know i'm referring to the door to door work they take part in.
so many lives are at stake and your life is dependent on if you "accept the good news" that they preach.. i surely don't believe this anymore.

Will the Book Study ever be dropped from the weekly meetings?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe book study is one of the most useless meetings.
the same books have been studied 3 or 4 times.the meeting takes only an hour but takes up most of your evening.
and, it is one of the least attended meetings.. why haven't they combined the watchtower study with just question and answer and then follow with the book study with just question and answer?

Why is it that EVERYTHING seems to be demonized to a JW? A relative of mine almost broke her neck rushing to turn off the radio when "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" came on. "The anthem of Demons" is what she called it. Her reason? The singer seems to be speaking in tongues she said.

offers to study after going inactive!!
by gabriella ini just recieved my third offer to have a bible study after being inactive for several years.
hello,, i remember where the kh is if i wanted to attend and i think after five meetings a week my whole life i know what the teachings are without having another "study".
i just found it very degrading and arrogant to assume that there must be something "wrong with me" or that i "needed help".

As far as I know, that's the usual way of "welcoming back" inactive ones. Why would you ever want to "study" over the same rubbish as before anyway?

Can you imagine how distressing life in "Paradise" will be with such a small group having to rebuild the destroyed world? And to make things worse, they will have to do it without the necessary technology, since all educated people will be D.E.A.D. Why doesn't the FDS portray THAT in the publications.
