  sitting at home on a friday night - browsing through all the jw groups on facebook and this catches my eye.... we help support our full-time ministry with this website.

  please have a look at the "watchtower" -style pins and pendants.

  a friend of mine owns a small ceramics and gift shop.

  i guess a year or so ago, she bought up a ridiculous amount of small plushy toys, like beanie babies, webkinz, etc.. she had about 30 of them she had forgot about in a storeroom.

  she thought of putting them on the shelves but decided just to write them off.

  we saw someone paragliding off a mountain.

  Noah's ark - Can't believe I once actually thought it was true

  when i was a jw i didn't even question that the noah's ark story might not be true.

  i didn't realise that it wasn't achievable for a handful of people to gather literally millions of animals - two of each kind - and fit them into a boat where they would all survive for many days.

  i didn't think about the fact that if the highest mountain was covered with water then how could plant life like trees and flowers come to exist again, especially so soon after, with the raven grabbing an olive leaf was it?

  How did Noah (and the animals) survive being surrounded with filthy water containing rotting carcasses?

  so i was sitting watching the sunday night movie tonight which was "the pursuit of happyness" and i now cannot stop crying.

  i kid you not, i am typing this through tears.

  something about the movie struck such a chord within me.

  The Pursuit of Happyness was quite a touching movie.

  It made me appreciate the fact that sometimes we can never, ever truly understand what someone's going through in their life. We might see them every day, talk to them, work with them, but we never really know.

  He worked sooooo hard! He definitely deserved that internship.
