Disassociation Question

my wife is currently trying to fade w/o having to go through a disassociation or dfing.

so far when we've had witnesses come to our door we've been avoiding them.

lately her parents have stopped the usual emails and have made no attempt to contact her.

Well I'll say! That is probably what has happened to me then. I haven't had a visit from anybody from my congregation since June or July of last year. Not a call, not a visit, not a note that they have been by my house. Nothing, zip, nada. Probably the voice has spread that I might be either a bad association, or that I am no longer part of the congregation or something, so they have "shunned" me in their own way. I wrote a letter back in June , not of DA, telling them about my feelings and apparently I was too upfront in some of the things I said and they took it very seriously, I guess. A lot of them live just streets from my house and not one dares to come to my house and say Hi, or Is there anything you need?

I don't need them anymore. I've been through a lot without them and haven't killed myself yet. So if they think they are indispensable, they are wrong.

Revelation Book Conductors

) book at the weekly book studies?.

if so, are you maneuvering thru with ease?.

OH my GOOOOOD they are agoing over this again. How can they, when they have changed their view on many of their views originally set forth in this book. This book was horrible the first and second times thru, I can't imagine going through it again.

This is actually the fourth time is considered.

Death Count at the District Convention

I remember a District Convention I attended about 15 or 16 years ago in Miami. It was an oven. It was on a race track. I had to leave early because I had a heat stroke as well as my daughter who was about 8 or 9 months old. I started vomiting and she did too, and had loose bowel movements. (Sorry) I've never felt anything like that before. I started feeling bad earlier but, because I felt, if I didn't stay, I was being unappreciative of the "spiritual food", stayed. At the last minute, on the last talk I couldn't take it anymore and left.

Not easy, not easy at all.

Do CO's discuss inactive publishers?

during his visit, what exactly does the circuit overseer discuss with the body of elders with regards to inactive publishers?.

are inactive publishers even on the agenda?

or is this of no concern to the co and pretty much left to the discretion of the local boe?.

At least that was my case. Fear of Armageddon and fear of dying. I bet that is the case with most of them. And fear is not suppose to be the reason why you serve God. Is suppose to be love, but how can you love a God that says will destroy you if you don't comply with certain rules that I think the Organization has set up themselves? It's like being married to a man that abuses you, you are afraid of leaving him in fear of what he may do to you if you do. That is not love, that is terror. You feel you can't be yourself, you don't do anything right, you have to do more and more to please him. I want to think that Jehovah is not that way, but that is what we have known all along.

Well I have been inactive for the past 8 months and "my" congregation was supposed to have had de CO's visit back in August or September and nobody went to my house. I think the elders keep him busy so he doesn't have enough time in his already busy agenda to make "unnecessary" calls. The elders here appear to have forgotten all about me. I guess I wasn't that much of an important part of the congregation after all. Right now I consider it to be too late. I don't want them visiting now as I will not be a pleasant host. Actually I think they might have prevented the CO to come to my house, knowing that I will tell him that they just didn't bother coming at all.

I wrote a letter back in June of 2006 after I stoped attending late April, telling them my feelings and overall spiritual condition and after three weeks my book study conductor was the one that came to my house, without actually addressing too much of my letter. He got that letter 1 day after he arrived from a trip himself. So I guess he wasn't prepared to "help" me. After that just one more visit. I had too much stuff going on around the house and didn't let them in. And that's the last I heard from any of them. I understand that only your book study conductor should visit the members of his book study. The others don't even bother calling to see how you are. It makes me mad and disspointed at the same time. This brother already had a lot going on with his own family. But that's the way it is in "my" dear congregation. All rules, spending time filling up their service reports with long hours pioneering; a call to a baptized member will not count.

BLAH, let them keep on preaching the love they don't display in the congregation unless you are an active member and want to be a pioneer and join their group of stuck ups. To hell with the ones who are not. Right? Sorry I am very upset today and this subject just hit the mark.

page 18 is the pathetic craptower article, telling women (who have apparently gotten above themselves) that they must be "obedient" to their husbands.

the entire article is nauseating, and obviously written by bitter old men who have major issues with the opposite sex.

i'm not going to write the whole thing, but here's a few 'highlights':.

Leave number 2, it is more important you leave your husband because he is an apostate or prohibiting one from attending meetings but, stay and let him beat you to death, you will be dying obeying "Jehovah" and will have the hope of resurrection. In fact did you notice that Physical abuse is number 3 on their list of reasons and Spiritual endangerment is above it? They consider that a better motive than Physical abuse.

Oh dear God!

I remember a District Convention years ago, where a sister related her story on how horrible her marriage was for 20 years where her husband continuosly and repetedely punch her every day and for going to the meetings. And there she was, proudly telling her story because after all those years of misery he finally became a Witness. Touching isn't it? Like I've always said those experiences are given in Conventions for a reason. To have every woman there think that if they divorce their husbands because they beat the sh** out of them, they are not being spiritual and submisive.

That is what I don't figure out with this people. They make you feel unworthy and unspiritual if you don't think like that.

e-watchman mass banning

recently e-watchman started deleting/suspending (theres a difference?

) accounts of people on the e-jehovahs-witnesses.com forum left and right which he and the moderating team deemed to be discussing apostate things as in apostate in brother kings own vision, further detailed in some posts (basicly barring out discussions of jw doctrine).. i suppose my own offenses was my "staying in the org.

" thread and one that explained that one should not depend on kh's to be able of worshipping.

Well I don't understand Mr. "Watchman's" intentions because he himself has been disfellowshiped for apostasy. All these things he says about 1914 and in his book "Jehovah Himself Has Becoming King" is in total opossition to the Orgn.'s view on Jesus' coming, and where and how Jehovah will judge humanity, starting with his own organization. The fact that he wrote this book, built this website and has openly acknowledge his thinking is different from what the Society says has deemed him one of the big "apostates" in the Society's eyes. His book even goes on to contradict almost everything the book of "Daniel's prophecy" says.

So whatever his intentions are, I just don't care about commenting anything on that site anymore.
