I think they become members of the Governing Body. If you screw up 2 or more prophecies, you get to be chairman of one of the committees. ;)

by mP ingiven that the printed word is forever and cannot be erased do the writers get into trouble for the embarassment they cause ?
every mistake results in someone today or tommorrow or nnext year and so on losing faith which is a disasyer for the org.
how do they hope to control these errors and prevent them from happening in the future.?

Why the Governing Body is not Evil
by garbonzo ini know that some of you don't personally think that the gb wants to cause harm or is only after the money, but after reading some posts on here, it seems like some of you do think that the gb is evil.. .
if you think about it, that doesn't make sense, but here is just one question.
why would the gb create a time limit on their organization if they believed it to be false?

Heathen, to be honest, evil lurks everywhere if you want to go there. Sure, the GB can be and has been "evil". That description also plays right into their hands with da flock.
I will simply refer to them as "profoundly misinformed as to their standing with god".

Godwin's Law of JWN---Need help naming it!
by NewChapter infirst, a definition of godwin's law:.
godwin's law (also known as godwin's rule of nazi analogies or godwin's law of nazi analogies[1][2]) is a humorous observation made by mike godwin in 1990[2] that has become an internet adage.
it states: "as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving nazis or hitler approaches 1.

I vote "It's simply human nature." ;)
Not as sexy, but if we need a name, "Coftys" or "New Chapters" will do.
