  Why I am going to call the WTS headquarters on February 1...

  I'm gay and since coming out I have been happier than I ever have been in my whole life.
  
  However, I admit there are times when I have felt a little lost, spiritually. It is certainly hard to live a life believing something, and then to have that taken away practically overnight leaves one feeling lost and void.
  
  I have posted threads and topics on this point and have had mixed responses. Some say try a church that suits me, others say don't bother at all. I don't know the answer but maybe one day I'll find it.
  
  I need to read your post again. But if you ever want to talk to anyone about how you feel, please feel free to message me.
  
  Ultimately, do not feel guilty about the way you feel. Nobody should tell you who to love, least of all some archaic men who have no idea what you're going through.

  Anyone ever disfellowshipped for gluttony?

  i never knew or heard of anyone, and remember many, many members of congregations who clearly ate much more than they needed to for health.

  since the bible lumps gluttons with other "sinners" such as fornicatiors, why does wtbts not prosecute gluttons?

  perhaps elders meetings aren't as much fun when you only get to ask questions like "what did you eat next?

  Gopher- she was about 20 stone I reckon, I mean she was a big girl but she didn't have to be hauled out of the house by a crane or anything.

  One sister in a neighbouring hall was banned from field service, answering at meetings, etc because she was to fat, and when I asked my friend why she answered "well it's gluttony, so it looks bad on Jehovah if she's representing him outside."
  
  What was this- eat as much as you want and you never have to go preaching????? Get me some Ben and Jerry's and a large coke, quick!

  There is a reference when everyone is in hell and a guy goes "I was a faithful JW and I'm in hell- why?" or something like that, and Satan checks his clipboard and says "It was the Mormons who had it right" and everyone goes "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww".

  I'm obsessed with Narnia and wanted the name Faun but someone had already taken it. I changed it to Faundy because nobody had that and I was in a hurry so it stuck.
