No plan for two years.....but oompa is taking his life back!!!

one day at a time....and have found what may be an incredible ally in this quest.

someone who has kicked depression and booze and has even helped sober her dad up and he is a pitiful story.....jw....multi-millionair elder/pioneer who lost it all....due to bi-polor and booze....was in prison for two years on booze crimes, but has now been sober for almost three years.....his daughter is an incredible woman massage therapist, and also teaches holistic healing.....don't know a lot about that, execept i have been helped a lot by accurpuncture and they take this holistic approach...bit btw here.....angie has helped totally awaken her dad and brother!!!!

i am so excited to have found someone who wants to help me, thinks they can, and have sooooo much in common with and i will let you know if she can walk on water.............i am taking back my life!!!

i'm going in for a routine checkup at the behest of my partner.

she was shocked i've never been tested, and i said well i have no symptoms, i wear condoms, and had very few partners, so i didn't think it was necessary.

really how bad is the "q tip"???

i just dont think i can take it anymore....my wife of 11 years is such a great gal... but we are just not connecting anymore......otwo says hang in there...as she may come around and wake up!!

!....but the extreme differences in our lifes are starting to take a toll...and may be making me want to drink too much.....i should not need to self medicate like this!!

!.....soooooo wish i had never woken up or could just deal with the real truth....what a rock to my world.......nothing will be the same.................................................oompa.

Sometimes admitting that you need to call it a day, though, takes more guts than sitting in an uncomfortable marriage forever.

You need to sort the drinking out, though. For yourself, if it's too late for your marriage.

so the dubs were working my street this weekend.

unfortunately i got home just after they visited my house.

so i see a couple working a few houses down.

We used to say "I'm a cat now- I've done Miaower"

After an hour we used to get itchy feet. Then there was the "let's do return visits" so that we could sit in the car and take it in turns to get out and do a door. I loved that. I never had any RVs so whoever did took a hapless partner with them and we would sit in the car and chat.

had a really interesting experience i thought some here might like to hear about.

my jw ex-wife and i still own a house together, (she lives in it and a non-jw adult son is living there with her temporarily), not to mention the three kids and seven grandkids we share, so we interact quite a bit, e-mailing, calling or seeing each other a few times a week or so.

i'm still doing some remodeling to our house.

I think it's great she came back to talk to you, and she realised she shouldn't have ignored you in the first place. Wish I knew more people who did that- most of my old friends ignore me without ever coming back.

i started to put this in the great thread here on weirdos in your hall which i have so enjoyed, but there was a bit more story to it.

there a pitiful little hunchback young man of about 25 that was soooooo introverted it was really sad.

so he calls my house to speak to my elder dad, and i answer the phone.....unfortunately, at 15, i sounded a lot like my dad, and as soon as i said "hello" he blurts out...."brother oompa, i just wanted you to know i have gotten rid of all my pornography, and am going to really try to work in harmony with my prayers to stop masturbating.

Favorite books of all time....?

ok, so i'm looking for a new book to start reading.... any genre, any style.. what are you favorite books of all time?.

I really recommend a book called "Day of the Bees" by Thomas Sanchez. It might be hard to find but it's incredible.

Other incredible reads are Howard's End, by EM Forster, or Defoe's classics like Robinson Crusoe and Moll Flanders.

Or anything by Fannie Flagg. She wrote Fried Green Tomatoes. She is a brilliant author- bittersweet, funny, moving and wholly satisfying.
