For an organization whose sole purpose is to spread the "Good News of God's Kingdom", they sure don't act like it.
What a real shame that this cult employs the strongest, most effective thought control in a way that no active Witness could ever break away from it long enough to carry on a real conversation.
Also, for those who aren't familiar with the term, click here to read about one of the many psychological traits that occurs in the minds of most Witnesses.

Ok, I'm not laughing or anything, but isn't that kind of ironic way to die, considering the BS that he fed millions of people?

BEST Watchtower analogy I have ever seen!
by RedPill2006 inyou can see it on a picture on the may 1, 2007, pages 24-29)(youths goals honor god) watchtower on page 26!.
watch carefully what the girl is doing and what she is drinking....... this has symbol character.
if this isn't on purpose, than it is the best analogy to what the wt means to your life..... redpill.. could someone please scan that picture and post it here????

Iced tea doesn't turn ice cubes red. It's cool aid, or some other fruit drink. Probably some home-made fruit drink, though, because any spiritual person wouldn't have wasted $0.99 on a pack of Kool-Aid powder, but instead, would have put that money in the contribution box.

Finally getting shunned...
by bluesbreaker59 inwell my family has been doing it for a while.
but i found it really strange, that i live in an area of town with many jw's and still go to all the normal places, and yet i'd not seen them... last week, walking around downtown, i spotted my "step -aunt", (step mom's side) and she put her head down, and wouldn't acknowledge me.
then i rode up the elevator with her today, same treatment, thought today she made eye contact.

Yep, its an awful feeling at first. But you've got to remember that it's THEIR decision to do it to you. Not your's. Before long, if you're like me, the feelings of anger and despair will be replaced with true pity for them. All I can do now is look at them and feel completely sorry that they are under that level of mind control.
