  Do You Take Flu Shots?

  i never have.

  i seldom get the "flu" and if i do, it usually happens after everyone else has gotten it.. i know of many people who regularly get the flu shot and they seem to always still get sick..

  I got them for free through work since '96 and now each year since retirement for a few years now. No flu in all that time.

  Confidential Document Email Hijacked!

  dear friends:.we are under attack by email hijacking and someone is using our email address to send out spam.

  it has to be because of the confidential documents that were going out in the emails.

  i will have to discontinue the emails and go back to posting the documents on jwn..this is an example of just how badly somone wants to keep these documents out of the public eye.

  let's just say i'm a devout 2nd amendment supporter and believe more guns are the answer.. .

  Welcome! Wow, I sure like it when some who left the WTS so many years ago (like 20+ yrs), finally get to checking out the facts of the WTS and come to terms how the organization is not in any way "the truth. It is sad that many walk away still believing somewhat, some still carrying fear or guilt. I hope many more will come to check out things as you have done.

  good morning all,.

  i have had the opportunity over the last couple of years to speak with a couple of jw's who had either attended the same congregation i did or were married to someone who to the same one.

  for the record, i disassociated myself in 1992 due to being followed around by an elder or two who had heard that i had ray franz's "crisis of conscience" in my possession.

  No one, 'absolutely no one,' can leave the organization and have any amount of respect or good name among JWs. They have to make you a "demon," to justify your leaving.

  10 things that happened in 2012 - my review

  last year i did a review of 2011 for the forum.

  this was more of a review that focussed on some of the awful stuff that was printed in the literature that year - the first year of my awakening.. 2012 has been more interesting from the point of view of things actually happening outside the literature.

  i thought it might be nice to take a look back and put some of these events in chronological order.... .

  "Peak" pubs in U.S. increase only .26% over 2011

  Alaska was absorbed into U.S. in 2007 Report,,Alaska had been decreasing for sometime before that anyway.

  Hawai was absorbed in last year, which did create an increase for U.S. reportfor 2011.

  From 2010 to 2011, "peak" pubs. increased 22,223. This year only had an increase of 3,070. Substantial decrease from 2011, tho increased very little this year.

  why would this stat be a "cooked" number by WTS? it is indicating a "flatline" unless they are trying to indicate their "flakey"pubs arre decreasing? maybe they are that desparate,,,,but why didn't they boast bout their "avg. pubs if that did increase more??

  so this is only about 1/4 of 1%. I think a good sign, not for JWs.
