  35 states? Many years ago there was one in Phoenix, AZ. But it didn't last long. I can't think that a JW school would last. In reality, JWs, as a group, can't handle any events or programs that involve 'real' life skills for long. Especially outside of the 'controlled' WTS.

  New Arrangement: All Can Listen In to Bethel Annual Meeting

  I can only assume this new Bible won't be out for awhile. Won't be available at this program? How can they ensure funds for this? Will they now have an additional 'donation' box' for these Bibles? They must have some kind of control on this, can't just give for free?

  So that's why they were just giving just 'getting rid' of those (old) Bibles out for free on the streets, the Manhattan Project, a while back!

  for me, it took many years.. even when i would read all the changes over the years from the "truth", i still would ignore it and "wait on jehovah" and try to be a positive force in the congregation.. eventually, i just couldn't take it anymore and resigned as an elder, and slowly but surely made my fade.. what about you?

  10 years (starting from about '75) ,, in phases,, a series of location moves helped getting out of radar,,never df'd or da'd,,I knew enough of their methodology control to just leave without being vocal to anyone.

  The WTS is more of a 'cold' doctrinal group, not much emotion at all. They can just 'coldly' teach and believe in a 99.9% destruction of the world. They can 'coldly' DF people, including family. They 'coldly' face death in their denial of any blood transfusions.

  Their 'coldness' in their self-righteousness is eerie.

  i am building my support network... and i suggest that before you exit the wts, you do so too!!

  i am so glad that i have found old high school friends, and i added dozens of them, and within minutes we were talking again!!

  i am so glad that people still remember me even though i have not seen some in 10 years!!

  2013 Baptisms @ U.S. District Conventions Reports?

  anyone getting/hearing how baptism numbers are this summer @ conventions?

  in previous years, reports showed less baptisms per attendance numbers.

  overall, annual 2012 service report showed for u.s. reduction in baptisms..

  25 baptized with attendance 3,900 in Corpus Christi. A .6% of attendancce.

  2013 wrapping up the district conventions within next couple weekends.

  2014 District Conventions to downsize 400 to 100 - "consolidating"
