recieved this email a few days ago, it reads like a typical jw chain email that gets forwarded around.
but it almost sounds like something the writing dept would start circulating as fiction propaganda...... .

Sounds like Personnel Dept is desperate for workers.. doing some sort of sugar-coating the place as ooey-gooey with a lot of love or appreciation. They just want workers, willing to work, & work hard for nothing.
Calling in someone in his 70s out of some goodness of their heart to a place where there's massive construction need when they've been demoting many many Bethelites & send them out to the Special Pioneer Pastures. Something's warped in this fantasy la-la.
It is not true that "baptism" will make your life better/easier. The organization will always be on your case about something; therefore your mother would likely do the same. After baptism, then it would be expected to pioneer, not go to college, this rule, that rule, never ending.
Try to keep the peace with your mom. Compliment her for her normal real things, meals etc.
Fortunately, your insights are good at your age. Save your energies for your personal development. Try to achieve your schooling with a plan. Get involved in wholesome extracurriculars at school. Find friends who are achievers.

talked to a congregation literature servant's close friend today.
i asked him what he thought about the "no bibles" situation.
he said the literature servant told him that there will be a new bible released at the annual meetin.
The GB will "slip in a 'Mickey'"/bible, only to create a high or incapacitation

to slip in another new/'used' control, called 'new light.'

latest news from a source (missionary in foreign land):.
no more missionary homes anywhere in the world.. all missionaries presently in missionary homes must vacate.
must get housing on your own / from the locals.. circuit and district overseers have moved into many of these former missionary homes.. reasons: liability, cost savings, real estate to be sold or used for other purposes.. needless to say, many of these longtime servants are very unsettled.
not surprised,,Gilead as a missionary school changed about a yr or two. ,, many branches closing,,
Many questions tho,,are these missionaries basically going to be "special pioneers" now,, with some small allowance to be given yet at least for a short period of time?
Why would COs be living in former missionary homes?? Aren't they suppose to be living week to week at homes in congregations they visit?
I suspect these former missionaries, if they can get back "home" for next summer's conventions, maybe many to most will stay, hopefully their families will be able to help them out.
