About 50 seconds in,,the way he tightens his 'fists' up, and stating right to these graduates, to "bolster up" these congregations, just sounds like they are getting trained to 'trouble shoot' or fight or exert a lot of strength in these assignments.. I think the GB is expecting more future probs in congs.

why is mark sanderson suddenly so prominent in all things wt/jw?.
others have commented on the obvious narcissism of the gb pushing themselves to the fore recently, in particular after their huge doctrinal change at proclaiming themselves and only themselves as the faithful and discreet slave.. this is clearly true as evidenced at the agm, not only throughout the agm, but also in the video that was featured as part of that meeting.

The WTS is like a 'dragon,' needing new young blood. Without new or younger to pick up the slack, it will weaken and have a slow death.
Cults are often recruiters demanding a lot of work, needing new ones with more energy, than their tired out members. Starts from the GB, and down.

once for the changed situation (or loss) and another time for expecting to make progress in getting over it.. the 1969 book on death and dying by elisabeth kubler-ross introduced us to the kubler-ross model , commonly referred to as the " five stages of grief.
" they are very helpful, but the original idea of the book and the hypothesis was that when a person is faced with the reality of impending death , he or she will experience a series of emotional stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.. it isn't always the case, but those stages are often felt by terminally ill patients.

It appears the Ex-JW community is having a huge impact on the way funerals are being handled at the KH
by StoneWall injust wanted everyone to know that i got back today/night from my second jw funeral in less than 3 months and that both of them (2 different halls),were handled completely different than in times past.. used to be it seemed like a recruitment opportunity (as many of you have pointed out before), but these last two times it was totally different from previous times.
it didn't seem like they used the outline at all that had been posted in another thread a while back.. that was kinda interesting and refreshing at the same time to actually hear them focus more on the individual that had passed instead of only a few minutes about them and the rest all about the org.

I heard from a recent attender (xJW) attended a JW funeral. Was much more personalized, with several slides.
I wonder if there is an unspoken consideration, that the resurrection may not be so soon afterall.

Doubling up for Trouble in 2014?
by Gayle indecember 2013 our kingdom ministry (u.s.) states in 2013, there were 3 classes of single brothers and 18 classes for couples.
for 2014 there will be 47 classes scheduled.. (these type classes developed as the 'traditional' gilead classes for missionaries have been dropped.
these classes have been developed to send to already existing congregations areas/cities that need help.

for 2014 there will be 47 classes scheduled.. (these type classes developed as the 'traditional' gilead classes for missionaries have been dropped.

A House Divided Against Itself Falls-Luke 11:17

second only to the wild beast's internal divisions, is the divided makeup of the ex-jw populace.
you know the one thing that indicates jehovah's blessing upon the worldwide association of kingdom proclaimers, is not only the continued success of the preaching work, but along with it the unity and love amongst the brothers and sisters.

Forced unity is nothing to brag about!
The Catholic Church was universal, one creed, then finally with education developing, hundreds of 'divisions' groups developed. That did not 'prove' the Catholic Church to be any 'truth,' did it.
The U.S.S.R. claimed to be united and very forced. It went down. There are many separate and different governments developed there since. This does not justify or prove that the U.S.S.R. was good for the people at all.
The WTS has a form of hurting people by their "shunning" practice. It is not from God. It is from 'men' in order to keep their control only. It is not love. The WTS takes the place of God, and truly judges people, especially when these 'thinking' ones disagree with the GB. The GB are not perfect, individually, NOR as a group. They have no more right to absolute obedience, than the Pope, governments nor religion.
Some JW individuals are loving but the GB doesn't allow them to be as loving as their personal heart wishes.

Used to be to have immediate contact with the "book study" as the Kingdom Halls would be watched by the gov. etc enemies. Now ironically, they 'themselves' have closed the 'home' book studies. Still with same fear tactic to not ever miss a 'book study' meetings with 'secret' instructions for the next meeting. Their secrets, fear, paranoia continues.
With Internet the WTS can not have any secrets, finally, any more.
