maybe Japan more desperate,,decreasing for years,, desperately need ministerial servants, elders, etc.
Of course, if "worldly clothings" - & tight pants, then he's still going to be in trouble.

i'm curious.
what do you know from your own experience and talking to other active jws?
i know from my own informal, non-scientific survey that most jws do not watch jw.tv.
if any one has been taking note of my posts, it could be said that i often mention conversations i have had with dubbies.
in some ways not been dfed has allowed me to gain some real in sight into how they think and their justification for things.
the following is a conversation i just had with an ultra super dub relative, and to be honest i don't know weather i should be laughing or crying over it.. relative: the rc this year is going to be held in the assembly hall.
Yeah Jehovah is building the KH smaller now as he wants us to draw closer to each other in the time of the end.
yea, I thought the 'house' congregation book study was suppose to take care of that. What happened with that anyway! Wasn't it something about "saving gas?
special assembly was attended by 30,000 and 173 was baptized.. see video-footage given by english language belgian web site.. (interestingly, the press spokesman was a sister).. http://deredactie.be/cm/vrtnieuws.english.
so, i left about 5 years ago and at that time, the official ruling on number of members was a little over 6 million.
i google jw out of boredom the other day and find they are now claiming 8 million members.
sooooo.... hold on 2 million increase in 5 years?
In U.S., yearbook reports for : 2010 Ratio 1 JW per population 259
2014 Ratio 1 JW per population 259
So, not increasing that way either (by WT yearbook record).
so ofs was at the wt this morning, and on par.
14 the question was, "what trust can a faithful christian whose relative is disfellowshipped have?".
after awhile when no one else raised their hands ofs did, and was called on.. ofs commented, "one of jw can have the trust that god will lovingly give them the ability to uphold the disfellowshipping arrangement by totally shunning family members.".
since this is the first weekend of rcs, anyone going that can give estimates of how many are getting baptized, how many appeared about that were jw youth, and what attendance figure is at these rcs?.
i know u.s. baptisms are declining.
can any keep a running report?

36 baptized there. Always higher at Spanish conventions.
According to the Pew Research Center, the percentage of Witnesses who identify as Latino rose from 24 percent in 2007 to 32 percent in 2014.
would it really affect them?
how would it affect volunteers at any construction project since that work would now be taxable.
any materials they buy would be taxable.
I can't see the government taking away tax exempt status to all religions - in my lifetime.
What I wish is that the U.S. government would required full account records available to the public. How much is really going for food, health (clinics), schooling (to public verifying education that all must meet state requirements). How much is going for multiple buildings, used for what. How much is really going for disaster reliefs. ETc., etc. All with comparison charts alongside all registered religions.
Then, let the people decide then, how much they want to donate, amount average per household.
zeal has always been a valued word in the jw arsenal.
even if you don't see it in your own local congregation, you keep hearing about it.
"zeal this" and "zeal that".
another jehovah's witness woman has died while giving birth due to massive blood loss and refusing a blood transfusion.
she leaves nine children behind.
she finally consented to the transfusion but it was too late to save her.
