  pioneer response: i agree with you that you will find child molesters in any religion, even ours.

  and i did see the dateline show about 3 years ago about jw and how the elders in some halls handled it.

  i did think the answers were lame on our part.

  The WTS says it's not their responsibility to protect the children,,the parents' & the 'law' responsibility . . .okay.okay ,,,,The WTS says when you have a medical/surgery & blood issue, that is the individual's responsibility and the doctors .WTS not helpful, not responsible when the individual dies . .okay..okay . .. .When the WTS says no college,,don't worry about financial security and then when you have financial problems don't come crying to the WTS . okay... okay. . What is the WTS for anyway???

  I guess this is in PA. I hope this wasn't a hate crime. Hate crimes don't work, only stir up persecution complex and further determination. It's better if it just falls apart by its own people's negligence.

  because of the season i have been writing a list of friends/'worldy' relatives to send cards to.

  The facade of all the millions of 'brothers and sisters' in the WTS is in reality so false. It's conditional & limited. Fewer 'friends' is better when you are there for each other thru the good & bad times. And more important, I have found I am a better friend to myself, not in a selfish way, but in the accepting way that I am, and am that way with my true friends and family.

  i don't mind some ups and downs, but staying low for days at a time just ain't right.

  somebody here was talking about snow the other day and how the elders would almost never cancel the meeting.

  gee, oompa,,you know, it seems to me you've got all the right stuff, to come thru the rain/snow, it takes time, a hard part I know,,but one day it will dawn on you, that you made it thru the big rain/snow, and you will have pride in that. Actually, where you are already is so much better than where you've been. There are sun shiny days ahead, not always, but mostly, better. Embrace those good things along the way.

  the WTS can play on words and numbers,,but now that we have caught on to their deadly game, their words of manipulation seem to almost highlight themselves and jump right out of the page.
